16 years and counting and this is what I needed to finally admit, majuu will never fill the void and homesickness that I experience constantly! Putting my ducks in a row slowly to take the leap of faith sooner than later. Its true.........nowhere like home. I belong in 🇰🇪 and I will return nyumbani someday. One love to all diliaspora hustlers dreaming of better days ahead after all the endless shifts and culture shocks. Thank you African T. Cheers 🍻
When he said don't come here, I feel him. I think only people who have been here can understand why he would say that. The truth is, majority of Kenyans who come here get tangled up in the system and never do anything past survival, the case for Charles believe it or not is unique, its actually very hard to relocate back to Kenya once you're here. thank you for the inspiration
This is just amazing story and a lovely place. More so his advice about going to America is completely correct, I lived there and loneliness and antisocial behavior can lead to depression yet people back home will continue thinking you are doing better than them. I can relate to this story. Good work afrikan traveler and at least the sound in this video is back.
I noticed in the comments that some people got defensive and caught feelings when the guy said come back home and invest. I don't see why this got some people riled up since it was just said with a light touch, like he said they planned for three years they did not just wake up one morning and catch the next flight home. Just like everything else, it took a lot of planning and saving to start such a project and they were yearning for home. So just do whatever works for you, you don't have to come back home if you are happy in Amerikkka! 😂😂😂
Most of the stop overs along major highways have common challenges with cleanliness and good food. This is a breath of fresh air. Congratulations to the couple. What is the name of the place, and where exactly is it situated?
Wow ! Great place 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 I love seeing diasporans returning to Kenya to build and To add to the beautiful country Kudos Charles and wife Thanks AT for showcasing this . You are on fire today
This is a really great, I love everything about it expect the fact that alcohol is part of what is being offered in that stopover. We have lost way enough people on our roads.
Wow such a nice place big up African travelers for bringing this .. yes I'm coming back home in few years God willing 🙏. with a great mind now I know how
Amazing place that each and everyone should plan to visit. Seeing is believing so take your eyes there and don't forget your tummy because the food is amazing......
This what I call hitting two birds with one stone great venture , ideal location close proximity to the rift Valley view point, great location to cater for guest on short-term and long-term visit, the stop over is the ideal place along Nairobi nakuru highway
African Traveller, there is a other video of the same that u have uploaded that has problem with voice. Could you delete it because It might spoil ur site. Also when people. Watch that and it cut halfway they give up and miss watching the great content in this video. I had given up and then I saw someone saying there is a new version of the same and that is why I came here.

Man, usituache nyuma! 😆 🤣 😂 I, too , am tired of this toxicity and outright rejection and constant subtle reminders about not ' belonging '! Home will always be best. Right behind you, bud! All the best.
So basically the Stopover is the same idea that ""mtito andei""has been all these years on the NBO-MSA highway all these years...just a very modern/very polished version
Now I love their story but what is the use of having your wife on the interview and not letting her talk, Mr. Husband even hijacked a question meant for his wife smh!! @14:20 let me ask your wife.....
“Life doesn’t always present you with the perfect opportunity at the perfect time. Opportunities come when you least expect them, or when you’re not ready for them. Rarely are opportunities presented to you in the perfect way, in a nice little box with a yellow bow on top. … Opportunities, the good ones, they’re messy and confusing and hard to recognize. They’re risky. They challenge you.” - Susan Wojcicki, CEO of TH-cam
this guy is contradicting him self,, he borrowed the idea from usa,, but now he is discouraging people to go there....,,,okay my polite question because am sure he will read this because this video is his, supposed he and she have never gone to USA will they be at the same position and same amazing project???
furthermore, this idea needs capital..where in Kenya with this economy can you raise capital to start this project??? what he was supposed to advise the guys who are dying going to oversees "go there make money come and invest here"
If you listen to what I said . I did not discourage anyone to go study in the US for the experience and I mentioned that is ok but my comment was targeted more for those Kenyan families that sell their assets to go live in the US .
you know Mr. Charles, my intention is not to offend you! what I want us to agree as both is people should migrate to oversee if chances oculars not to look for green pasture but rather to acquire education, knowledge, capital, and even exposure. and then they should come back here to do investments for themselves, their country, and our people!
@@charleskanyingi7467 thank you, sir, honestly what you've done for yourself and our country, is great...I love it is just I was a bit annoyed but I support what you've done...all the best may you expand even up to Nyamira- Kisumu road😃 cheers!

What a visionary. It is all about finding a need and filling in it.
Exactly, having a vision that at first sounds crazy.
Awesome, congratulations to the visionary and high-achieving couple! We need more of these all over the country and region!

Exactly, it's called the stop over in Lari, few KM's to the View point.
Brilliant idea and the design is very unique and real
