      Hi Kayleena!! Yes, I can definitely talk more about the application process and how you can start getting ready in high school. Thank you for the idea :)

      Your grades have to be pretty above average. They'll mainly ask for your transcripts and grades after you give your personal information.

    McGill is dream university for my son. Could you give some suggestions for application process and qualifications for future student at McGill? Currently, he is studying IB in Halifax.

    Im an incoming freshman at McGill, what do you think about starting the fall semester a week late (bc of visa)? should I just defer to winter :/

    • @heydahye
      @heydahye  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You will be totally fine! Don’t defer to winter because of this .. the first week is usually going over syllabus so don’t worry you didn’t miss out of much! Make sure you email the professors so they understand your situation!

    I have one question. Did you do a ACT or SAT? If you did it how much points get you? :)

      To attend Canadian universities, standardized testing is not required. They simply look at marks for required courses, your grade 12 course average, and application documents (ex. written letters, essays).

    Is university more fun than highschool for you?

    • @heydahye
      @heydahye  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      AT oufff that’s a good question. Honestly, they are such different experiences it’s hard to compare. High school was fun because it’s less serious, I did more sports and activities, and had a closer group of friends since the school is smaller. But in university, I love the freedom to choose your own path and be exposed to new events and people everyday. So my answer would be, both are equally as fun but in different ways.. I hope you’ll know what I mean :P
