- Hey guys! I thought I'd make a very niche McGill registration video to help everyone registering for classes in the next couple of weeks! Hope my advice is helpful. ALSO: another great idea is to reach out to upper year students in the same program as you to ask specific questions.

ugh i just attended a mcgill pro (orientation webinar type thing) and they were like oh it’s okay if you’re late you can register up to august and i’m like GIRL they fill up quick students are telling us this!!!!
Been looking the visual schedule builder and all of my classes only have one possible time frame so it's pretty hard to find classes that don't clash, is this normal? Thank you so much for all the great videos though!
How do I select the courses? I’m joining as a U1 and am planning on majoring in psychology but also minoring in other areas when I make my schedule how do I balance these?
If I’m going to be an arts student and want to do a minor in management for example, do I have to apply for it and if yes how and where? I’m kind of confused about it

Caitlin Starr hey! I’m sorry I wasn’t clear :,((. Essentially, you log into Minerva to find your registration time, go on VSB to search for the classes you want, and on your registration day you copy and paste the CRNs into Minerva under the tab “quick add/drop courses”

Thanks so much for this video - it was awesome! One question: When you talk about the McGill Enhanced extension - when you say “Minerva on a different browser”, do you mean it as in having Minerva open in Safari and the schedule builder on Chrome? Or just two different windows / tabs?
Yes I was wondering the same! My guess is that it has to be safari and chrome kind of thing but I wasn’t sure :/
I think it's just two different tabs, I don't see why it would be on two different browsers...
Both windows may have to be chrome because the extension is only installed on chrome. I’m not sure though.

I AM STRUGGLING WITH APPLICATION AS MY MOM DOESNT USE HER LAST NAME ANYWHERE AND IN THE APPLICATION IT WAS MANDATORY TO FILL LAST NAME AND I TRIED WRITING UNKNOWN BUT IT DIDNT WORKED NOR DID MCGILL REPLIED TO MY EMAIL I AM SO SAD

I want to do an undergrad that most current mcgill mcdm students have done to enter mcgills medicine program as a International student its hard to get any useful information

I am not sure if anyone would know this, but if I am doing an environmental science major at McGill, would I need to live at Macdonald residence, or would I be able to live in upper rez?
