Sir, the ministry of apologetics is massively missing in the Body of Christ because too many do not believe their favorite tv preacher's false teachings should be refuted! You are one of the voices of purity of doctrine God is raising up in these last days despite the rise of major foolishness being taught!

Great video. I'm a 62-year female from the south and I've used pleading the blood because that was hollered to us in church teachings and was told that I was a heathen for asking why when the question was merely asked for clarity and understanding.

thank you dear brother for sharing this...I remember 11 years ago when God brought me out of the Seventh Day Adventist church and I was introduced to all of this...for a short period blessed be God..when I fell down . I knew this was not of God...and I heard in my spirit very clearly "leave this place" and I left and it was then the precious Holy Spirit started caring and protecting me for all of this....and showing me through His Word with the guidance of the Spirit what was biblical...

This is so helpful! I went to a ministry school in Dallas Texas in the early 2000s and these kinds of terms were being used all the time. I always felt "less than" spiritually because I wasn't being "slain in by the Spirit" until one day I was in a healing service where people were coming forward to have hands laid upon them to be healed. Every single one of them fell down under the influence of God... (apparently)... until one feeble elderly woman escorted by her gentle loving husband inched forward slowly. I watched. It was apparent she needed healing, but was so frail she couldn't possibly fall down without injury. Well, she didn't fall down. The couple just stood there looking so sad while everyone around them reveled in their spiritual 'drunkeness'. Perhaps they thought that God had overlooked them. It was such a poignant moment for me to witness that from that moment on, I questioned the biblical authenticity of experiences like this. I would also be curious to know what the Biblical take is on Speaking in Tongues - another hyper-spiritual practice I was raised on. I am not bitter about these experiences. I find they come with the culture. But I know people who are. I value the input of solid biblical teaching. Thank you for your insight. I wish I could support with a donation. (Right now finances are tight with a large family to support by a teacher and an artist, but hopefully in the future!) Do you have a Patreon Page? God Bless you, Sir! You are doing a good thing!

It's funny Beth how you described the old couple not falling while every one else fell. When I got saved 7 years ago the pastor laid hands on me and others on each side of me and most of them fell but I didn't feel an unction to fall. I also have a suggestion of a good biblical take on "Tongues". An excellent video that I'm almost certain that you'll find kind of refreshing on here called "Is speaking in tongues still for today" (Northridge Church-Rochester). Check it out and let me know your thoughts. God bless.

I was praying one night, and when I was finished I simply asked God to teach me how to pray. He responded "Is pleading the Blood biblical?" I immediately searched for the phrase (partial and whole) in my Bible app and couldn't find it. I Googled the topic and discovered others have already researched the topic, giving the Bible passage in Exodus where the idea originated from, which had nothing to do with pleading the Blood, but escaping judgment. 🤦🏿‍♂️

I experienced so-called 'holy laughter' as a deceived charismatic. It is a manifestation of the kundalini spirit, well known in Hinduism. See You Tube video False Spirits Invading the Church and Wide is the Gate by the late Caryl Matrisciana. The gibberish tongues are also spoken by Hindud, voodoo devotees, wiccans etc. The gift of miraculous earthly languages ceased around the close of the first century AD according to the writings of the early church fathers. These counterfeit tongues were known in paganism for centuries and first surfaced in apostate Christians in the 2nd century via a heretic known as Montanus. They have been revived by aberrant groups like the Shakers and the Irvingites and most recently by heretics such as Charles Parham and William Seymour, which brought about the devastating errors we are dealing with today in The Great Falling Away.

Knocking people over with a touch on the forehead is a practice in Hinduism, and is rooted in ancient sorcery (what we now call hypnotism).
People who attend ashrams in India meditate for hours until they reach a state of mindlessness. Once there, the yogi appears, and touches them on their "third eye," which causes them to feel sensations of warmth and peace that overwhelm them and cause them to fall over.
It even has a term in Hinduism: Shakti Pat. It means, "to collapse," or, "touch of the divine". And it's not a coincidence that the tackiest of televangelists practice it all the time.

As to being “slain in the spirit“, in the King James in John 18:6 it says, following Jesus identifying himself “I am he“, “they went BACKWARD and fell to the ground.” My NIV parallel says “they drew back and fell to the ground“. The word “backward” is in there for a purpose. It’s showing that unbelievers, having a negative experience, not worshipful, fall backwards. Those who love the Lord, fall forward. Just look at it throughout the Scriptures. There are many examples! So that in itself exposes the whole “slain in the spirit” idea. Please, Brothers and Sisters, use the King James. We are missing key points by going off course into these new, corrupt versions.

I did an extensive study on the term "pleading the blood of Jesus" as it was a phrase used at my church. If anything it is a reminder of who we belong to and why we belong. It references back to the original covenant between God and Himself. Now that I know the scriptures behind the phrase I know what it means when I say it.

Applying The Blood to Spiritual opposition is a means of reminder to the enemy and to put God in remembrance of what Jesus has already accomplished through the shedding of His Blood.

    • @258269
      @258269 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Why would Paul plead The Blood when God already told him that he would go through many trials and tribulations fir the Kingdom of God.
Blood speaks of all the things Jesus caused to be redeemed by His Blood. Hebrews 12:24
...Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance]...
I disagree with you regarding the soldiers. When Jesus declared who He was they fell down because of His declared glory and they had no choice but to fall to the ground! The Roman Soldiers did NOT fall back until Jesus declared “I Am”.

You too are not The Standard. A bride is responsive.God Almighty is in no way totally contained in the Word. A God encounter often caused men to fall back. Not many I know are ever described as UNCONSCIOUS, you are exaggerating.. ABBA is Holy, utterly. This desire to be dignified is opposed to yielding. I do not agree with your description of Hyper Suggestibility. What is going on is: God's Presence affects a mortal, earthly being. His love can be felt and reacted too. To passionately pursue and respond to idols yet, stand unaffected by the Lord, is a contradiction, ey?

He talked about certain areas or measures was granted into him that has to do with his assignment your anointing is limited to your assignment if Paul would of went to Asia Minor do you think he would of had a Anointing for that region even when the spirit forbade him to go there I think not personally .Elijah and Elisha had economic anointing s what worked for them could not of worked for Sampson his anointing was different .anointing breaks the yoke of oppression today we call it different administrations of anointing s .but the same spirit it’s not anointing are greater it’s more of the realm of influence of that anointing

As he said our experience is not the standard, God's word is. Also, there is no scripture stating the God "slains" us =in the spirit. I used to believe that being slain in the spirit was biblical. But it isn't. Please research this for yourself and ask God for His guidance. There are so many false teachings in the church because we listen to the well known evangelists without studying ourselves. The bible says to study (2nd Timothy 2:15) to show thyself approved. Don't take my word for this study for yourself and the Holy Sprit will lead you into all truth.(John 16:13
