What did I find in the scoop underwater metal detecting. Found some more weird and unique jewelry.

- Under water metal detecting finds some more jewelry. Multiple days put together to make an endless dig of jewelry and other items. I couldn't get any sharks on camera this time. I am glad they are also staying away from me so if I never get one that will be ok with me.

Another nice hunt! Today I also found a "King Will" Tungsten carbide ring metal detecting in a local freshwater lake.They look good in the scoop, however they are el cheapo rings.☹
Yes the weight of those tungsten rings will trick you. That is what platinum feels like 😜
What keeps the sharks away is the sound and electrical signals from the metal detector.
I think the sight of a human keeps them away. They really don't want to interact with us. We are also a predator in the water.
Thanks for the info on the Manticore. I have little idea what gold looks like or ring up as on the Machine.
I have found some gold but mostly they were surface finds.
I have one video where I go over about 50 pieces of gold and some other items. If you are new to the manticore it may help understand what you are looking for

Thank you! It doesn't take much effort down here to get some great scenery. It's just everywhere. I should spend more time getting some of those shots. I am just so focused on finding things. I am thinking of leaving the detector at home and doing one day of snorkeling. Take in all the views with the camera for some B roll footage.

The plastic looking ring with a copper ring I believe is actually a larimar gemstone.

@@pirateofmiamibeach there is some designer jewelry makers that specialize in using larimar. Larimar is only found in the Caribbean and specifically in Haiti I believe. A nice peice can go for a few hundred dollars and I think the only mine for it is currently shutdown.

Best option to keep the waves away from your camera is to keep your back to the swell when you dig a target...
When I dig it's the undercurrent I am fighting mostly. I have to position myself between that and getting a good shot 😜

Why is your manticire coil is in red and white ?
I felt like painting it. Easier to see and less people are stepping on it now. Also the sand doesn't stick to it as much.
