If that's a Cartier don't hold your breath that it's real. I found two rings this year and half of a bracelet and all of it was fake.
@HailNjord Yeah most of them are fake that I find. Lots of stainless steel with gold plate. I have found some made with gold but still fake Cartier.

do you have arefactometer to check for real stones?
No I don't. I use the UV light to see phosphorescent and then will use a diamond testers. From there I use a loop. Most small diamonds are not worth much now with all the man mad stuff coming out.

What's a good detector for a beginner ( for gold)?
Lots of people like the Minelabe X-trerra. It's cheap and works. I have not used

They wear and lose alot of jewelry down there. Good hunt. That water clarity could not get any better. All the springs in fla. stay at 70-72 F. I never wear a wetsuit but in the ocean I always wear one in winter. A few times when I used to surf I would come home and find teeth marks in suit and never saw or felt it. I would definitely go over that area again.😊
I have pounded that area so much. I was there today and yesterday and nothing left

@@pirateofmiamibeachyou should do this in the keys. When I was there, (1975)a group would break into the cars and steal pocketbooks . They crowbarred my car trunk, got mine. Months later, I received in the mail my wet identification. Apparently a diver came upon a large pile of them on the ocean floor. I remember some had jewelry inside...very heart breaking. Cash everything gone, my parents had to send me money to get home.
