Great hunt!! Though you were gonna be a new member of the Rolex club!!! Still exciting to find!!! Both of mine came out of the dry sand. Haven't found one in water yet. 👍👍👍👍
The bezel was the giveaway but other than that it looked real. From my understanding the back on a Rolex is plain with no markings. If you open the case you could also use a diamond tester on the indices. But, we already know it's a fake. Still a great find even so. I've only found one watch and it was a TIMEX from the 60's or 70's. It took a licking and wasn't ticking.
I find many watches out here. Most are just plain quartz watches. Yeah the bezel and having water inside is not a good sign of a real watch of quality. One day maybe something will show up. Here things come in groups. Fingers crossed for a goodie 🤞
@beachhuntersouthafrica Take the 600 and place it on a shelf somewhere. Once you get used to the Manticore you will understand. Make sure you run Beach Low tones. It's sensitivity to gold is the best on that setting. In the salt I run the saltwater or it's chatters. Then you have to figure out the rest. Make sure it's updated
Thanks for the video. Question- How much weight do i need to snorkel? WHen i go under the water to fan for the signal, i float to the top and have a hard time staying down. No wet suit is worn during this.
@SpectraV3i Thanks for watching. Go to a dive shop and get a quick release weight belt. I am dense so I sink but when I have a wetsuit, I need 5 lbs for that. It all depends on what you feel comfortable with. Start of with 5 lbs and see how it goes
@na337 I actually cut some weight so it's easier to hunt land or water. I was around 230 but now 210 to 220 and it does help. The gear in thr back pack also add some weight so in the water it is good because it floats but then adds extra weight if I dig.
I paid for the scoop. I never asked them for sponsorship. I just don't feel like it's a good scoop in the water. I will be switching soon. It will be in one of my videos soon.
Hey man I’m moving back to Miami in two weeks. Maybe we can get together and detect one weekend? I miss it and I’m buying the same detector as you so I’ll be on par lol been wanting one for a while
I found a fat 14k men's wedding band in the local swimming hole today! It's hard clay bottom with little pockets of sand, so I have to dive and grab with my hand.
I didn't see the number because when the screen is underwater I can't see it. I go by tones when it's underwater. I can check later on but if it's stainless I am guessing 20s and probably a long line across the 2D map line
I wouldn’t give up on the Rolex yet, there’s too much real Rolex detail on the band and the the back of the case. I’m not saying that it’s real. Just look up some old Rolexes or take it to a decent watch maker to make sure it’s Fugazi. 🤙🏻
@@pirateofmiamibeach hell yea man that’s awesome. I had such a hard time there with all the trash lol but i only had a garret 300 and 400 at the time. I’m looking to get a minelab 800 or whatever it’s called but I want something fully submersible and works good with ocean water cuz the garret is a single frequency I believe and was waayyyyy too chatty. But the one you have is $1600 and I need something cheaper for now lol any suggestions?
@@pirateofmiamibeach hey pirate thanks for getting back to me so soon! I always look forward to your new videos, because the sound quality is excellent listening to The waves crashing into the Miami Shoreline, and the sites and the sound of the people on the beach! You do a great job you’re one of my favorite people on TH-cam!
@Independent57 Thank you! I have a lot of new things planned also. Some of these new things will take months to edit. BUT I will will get back to doing the weekly ones also. I am excited with getting organized and using my new things I have learned editing. Thank you for watching!

First time watching your channel.
I like your style and editing. You’re very even keeled. Matter of fact.

Nice find 🤩👍🏻 last night i found a vintage titanium Ray Ban in top condition. Fresh drop.
The Ray Bans are always a nice find!

Ready when you are !!!
Fun hunt even if the watch isn’t real!!! Congrats on the good stuff!!!
Next time I will get one!
I’m hoping you do. That would be amazing to watch!!!
Always enjoy your hunts!

Dang! Wish that rolex was real! Great vid buddy.
Black ring might be magnetite or hematite if you drop it on something hard like a porcelain floor it might break in half I had one do that. 😊
Just finished watching your video and you had great findings. A lot of rings especially that Princess ring I believe. Keep up the good work 😊
Thank you! I will ☺️
Actually, some models of the Rolex looks just like that no markings on the outside everything’s underneath the back cover!
@@Independent57 when I open it I will take pictures and make a post

I’m sorry the Rolex was a fake😝. Nice video🙌🏼
It's ok. It got my excitement up a little 😄
It's still possible to find an even better watch. Hopefully working. You'll get a real one soon. 👍
I see some really nice ones out there. But they are still on the wrist 😐
Always swing your way off the beach! 😂 pity about that rolex ...
@beachhuntersouthafrica I don't leave till the batteries are dead 😜 I would be swinging a dead machine. Plus all those distractions on the way up 😍
@@pirateofmiamibeach hmmm ... forgot about those distractions 😅

nice hunt. curious what headphones you are using.
@genegilstrap612 Grey Ghost with the Manticore. I like the wireless ones the Manticore comes with but aren't waterproof at all.
Good ideal.

Do sharks ever come up to you when you’re doing these searches? Just curious thanks
Yes you will see them. I am sure I don't see most as they are normally trying to avoid me.
