    Let me know what you guys think! Do you use these rules to organize your workshop?

      I'm going to need a bigger garage, for everything to be visible. Car parts are pretty large, there's different tool sets depending on region, oh yeah then add in a couple of bikes too. Without drawers, selves and ½ of those shelves filled with boxes, i wouldn't be able to fit a car inside, let alone work on it. To "get that workflow" i got text on everything, i know, how old school, nothing magnetic or printed ;)
      Oh forgot: Otherwise great advise, you basically got everything on point, according to how pros do it. Tho we got a booth for welding and for grinding. We have as mush as possible out on each of our stations on work, if possible the rest is on wheels :D
      PS Having metal drills on magnetic strips are a 100% no go for metal work! Chips will tend to cling to the drills, so they wear and/or heat up faster. Metal work is my actual profession (not cars, that's hobby) for over 2 decades now, so yes you can take my word for it. Print/make a holder for em, like for a screwdriver set. Easy way to do it: Take a piece of C steel, with it standing up, drill from the top with each drill size, easy, it'll fill more then your strip setup but be just as fast

      Totally did not think about the metal drills being magnetized by the strips. I have only implemented this for a few months. I will have to find a solution like you proposed to get those off the magnets! Thanks! Yeah I know these rules may not fit every scenario, but I have found them helpful for me and my shop so I wanted to share. 👍@@VikingRul3s

    Problem with having all your tools on the wall behind your your work bench is your reaching over your work bench the entire time possibly knocking off what ever is on it. And if you live anywhere it's cold and warm and your shop get cold all the metal will rust especially if you have a propane heat source. They most likely all rusting no matter what you do though

    • @mooseworks
      @mooseworks  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most everything rusts where I am at! It is super humid. I just try to oil up the tools that matter. And I try to keep the bench top free of tools. The back may have some open bins with hardware, but nothing to knock over. Thanks!

    You're like an exaggerated version of what people who know a little -but not a lot- about ADHD assume someone with ADHD feels like.
    Pretty fair advice up to around halfway through video but bouncing around far, far too much. I haven't watched past halfway because oh fucking wow, calm down.. but I do, in fact, have ADHD and I need to know conclusions..
    but I feel like you learned that videos do better in engagement when little to know cuts last longer than 4 seconds and learned that energy and engagement drove viewership and catered... though I'm fully aware that some people just happen to tick social boxes

      I am definitely trying different ways to make content and figure this TH-cam thing out. This video was intentionally high energy and edited to drive engagement, just like you said. At the base though was some details that I have found helped me work in my shop. I wanted to share with others. The cuts are super short mostly cuz I didn’t have a script and none of my actual unedited sentences are fluid. Haha. Thanks for the comment!👍
