Popular Mechanics had a list of metals that protect other metals, like zinc protecting steel, and I kept that page in my shop/automotive reference materials scrapbook.
For small things like screws/nuts/bolts/washers/razor blades or whatever, I use the plastic tray that comes in the Chips Ahoy cookie package. It fits perfectly in the top area of my small 3 drawer Husky toolbox and the lid closes without issue.
I use my wife's computer. Great video, wrote down many of your drawer ideas. You have a couple tool categories i don't have. I have new tool chest that I will be using. It is just like your old one, but I think it will work. Thanks . TOM
I have a magnetic screwdriver holder like you have there. I slapped it on the top outer side edge of my upper box. I use it to stick my T-handle Allen wrenches. The “T” hangs over the top edge of the box just a bit. Works great.
i purhcased the husky 10 drawer standing setup... i had tools all over the house, shed and garage.. threw out a lot of broken/severly rusted screw driver.. now im better organized
Good video. I suggest that you mount your vice in one of the back corners so that it is out of the way when you are doing other things on the top of your new tool chest.
Thank you so much for this video. I bought a similar tool chest as you. The organizers you featured are great! HF has some nice organizers for pliers/adjustable wrenches and stuff you might look at! Again, thank you.
Not sure what kind of permanent workbench you have but I’d save the vice for that so you can really give something a whack if necessary. Other than that I’m in the starting phase of doing exactly this and your ideas are perfect for my situation. Thanks and best of health.
With the bigger drawers, do they have 4 tracks for the drawers?Or do they only have too?And how much weight could those bigger draws hold? Please comment back.Would love to know thank you
If you throw a few copper pennies in each drawer with your tools they will not rust. I learned this from an old tool and die maker.
Oh wow! I hope this is real cuz I’ll a do that.

No copper Pennie’s here. Would a cutoff from 1/2” copper pipe do the same?
@@stringsalive20 Maybe some hot dipped nails, zinc coating protects steel from rust... that's why they dip the nails in molten zinc.
Do they not need to be in contact with the metal they're protecting?

Damn dude you must be a giant cause you make those tool boxes look tiny
Do those wrench organizers actually grip the wrenches tight? It looks and sounds as if they're very loose.
Usually whats the weight capacity each drawers?
Those drawers without dividers and going to turn out exactly like your old drawers
Yeah you are right. My bottom ones are a little messy already but the top drawers are perfect
What is that black shelving system against the wall in the background?
My box set up for me, do what is best for the you.
Awesome and enjoy it
Looks great! BUT... you should of bought a bigger tool chest!
I thought I should’ve bought a bigger one but I’m actually happy with this size
Always gonna need a bigger one @@tronixster
