Years ago my friend invited me to see the insides of the Twin Towers, they were truly beautiful. But sadly my friend was killed on 9/11. I will always remember.

I have just discovered this video. What a great walk and so well filmed. Felt like I was right there with you. I visited New York city for one day back in 1973, long before the WTC was even thought of. We saw the statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, 5th Avenue, Soho, Greenwich Village. Most of it from a tourist bus so it was a bit of rushed trip, but at least I can say I have been there😀
Wonderful video, it is worth all the steps to get to that beautiful and sacred place and get emotional with those heartfelt flowers.

The scaffolding comes from laws designed to protect people from falling objects during construction. NYC is overly careful with safety and not all of them are needed.
