I love this! I can always appreciate videos like this without background music add ons. Allows us to really immerse and hear the actual street noises as they are. Thank u for sharing!!
Beautiful video ! The picture quality is remarkable and the commentary is accurate and personable: it really does feel like walking through the streets of NY with a friend !. I have never been to NY, and maybe I never will, so this is as close as it gets, for me and people like me, to have a NY experience. A cool idea and a very nice project altogether. Fun fact: as of January 2020 the Empire State Building is the 7th tallest building in NYC. By 2022 it's projected that it won't even be in the top ten.
I am India and I am very much fascinated by New York.. And this was the best video I came across through... I really want to go there and see all these things... one day I wish I could...
This is my new favorite channel to chill and do homework/gaming. Love the narration ones a lot. Since I plan too move to the city one day soon, nice information ☺️☺️☺️
I moved away from NYC in 1980 so this is all unfamiliar to me now. I used to walk from Washington Square up either 5th Ave. or Broadway to about 116th (Columbia U) all the time. When I moved away I felt like my heart was torn out and I was bleeding to death, for many years I was on the verge of moving back except things were so dirty and expensive back then it was out of my price range. It's good to see it through your lens and I do need to go back and reacquaint myself with the city.
Kid you make a good narrator is an excellent video I could not sleep it's almost 3 a.m. for me I am sitting back on the couch watching you on the big screen taking your tour through New York and narrating I really don't know anything at all about New York other than things I've heard so by you living in New York narrating your walking tour it's great.. I always enjoy your videos kid keep up the good work in the new year 2019..

I'm gonna go to New York one day, I'm from New Zealand, Ever since I was a kid I have been so fascinated by this city. Edit to say: Your viedo is fantastic.
I’m from England and I have so many butterflies watching this. I will be planning my trip soon for next year, I can’t explain how much I’ve always wanted to go to NY ✨ This was exactly what I’d want to see and what I will pretty much be doing across the whole of NY haha. Walking, walking and walking. I love shopping aswell so it’s gonna be awesome!

I’m from Buenos Aires Argentina I been many times in NY, I love the city, I love the museums, I love the Broadway musicals I love the buildings and the people from NY is amazing!!
Common Unicorn touched or untouched doesn’t really matter.. had it not been public knowledge that it was man made would you know?.. cause I wouldn’t, a lot looks natural and untouched for NYC if you ask me
VERY CLEAR, SMOOTH, NARRATIVE AND STABLED VIDEO. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Most people wear black in NYC because it matches with their everyday lifestyle and whatever situation they find them selves. It also happens that most people buy more black outter wear rather than colors they can’t match with. 37:25 Empire State Building is the 4th because the third tallest is “30 HUDSON YARD”. I believe it opened this year or due to be opened. Also in NYC we only call The borough of Manhattan “The City”. Although all five boroughs are the city, only one is actually call the city. Most people don’t wait for the crossing signed lights to cross because clearly no one will wait for you and everyone always appear to be in a rush.
I am so glad i’ve finally been able to find content like this! I love people watching while walking or driving but I don’t get out much. If only I could combine this with rain sounds and a 360 camera view. Still, this is a great video!
Oh wow, where to begin...!? I loved this video! My husband and I visited NYC two years ago, stayed down on 46th somewhere, and learned the subway system, visiting all the touristy spots that week... Last year we returned, but this time branched out for some historical places. This year (in April again) we are staying close to Central Park, and will spend much of our time there, relaxing, walking, exploring, painting, taking photos...But hey! I stumbled onto this video tonight and walked all the way down 5th Ave. with you, totally enjoying your narration and fantastic tour, along with tips for tourists! Next thing I do will be to look for a few more of your videos, and hit that subscribe button! You are so knowledgeable, so you must have grown up in Manhattan? You have just a trace of a NY accent! Thanks for a fantastic walk down Fifth Ave!
when I was in my late teens / early twenties - at least once every Christmas I would walk from The Plaza Hotel to Washington Square Park to do some of my Christmas shopping and to see everything - and in every neighborhood I would add to my purchases - coming home , finding it hard to balance all I thought I could carry !
@@rebekahalessi3731 , when I look back at it now , I think funny , more than sweet , and maybe a bit pathetic ! but it was once my life , and now it's not ! - it took a lot of living , and a lot of tears , for me to learn how to celebrate Christmas !
This absolutely brought memories of where I was born and raised. During the 60s, my mother used to take my sister and I shopping in 5th ave because all the bargain stores were there. We never imagined it would become so upscale as it is today. I miss it so much but sadly I can no longer afford to live there.
this is what I call a tour. thanks a lot man.

I T hold me with u when u visit ❤️
I recently had my first visit to NY and couldn't have asked for a better experience. As I sip on a cup of tea, I watch this video with a keen longing to be back. Best wishes from Dublin, Ireland!
It's funny, I'm from NYC and I feel the same way about Dublin!
@@RandomVidz690 I'm glad to hear this Kek. Maybe some day we could swap lives! 😂
@E W Grass is always greener on the other side
Thank you! For the person who wants very much to visit NY one day, this video is absolutely fantastic. Lots of information and useful tips for tourists. Thanks again!
This tour was lovely. Ive always wanted to visit. Watched this in my living room on the big screen and almost felt like I was there. Thank you:)
Thank you so much for the upload, fantastic. I could only dream of seeing NY's Fifth Avenue, but I felt like I was walking with you. I live in in a small town in England and am disabled, so this was like a dream come true...thank you ❤
You’re welcome!
Some guys wanna move to your small town. Of course it is hard when you are restricted in moving.💜
My first experience with the action kid’s videos... fan-super-tastic ...loved every moment of it and was “glued to his commentary” as well as his visuals ! Thank you ...thank you ...thank you!
@Hello BILL HAMILTON, How are you doing?
I love this! I can always appreciate videos like this without background music add ons. Allows us to really immerse and hear the actual street noises as they are. Thank u for sharing!!
This video is somehow so calming to watch. I love the sounds of the city the evening atmosphere.
A job very well done Actionkid ! Congrats !
This is probably the closest that i can get to 5th avenue. Still, life is strange. I love the narrated video, it was like i walked with you. Greetings from Turkey ❤️
Thank you very much 😃
@Burak masrafları karşıla gidelim 🤣
Beni bekle NY!!😁 Sağ ol çok incesin
Currently a 1-stop flight from Istanbul to NYC for US$362, round trip.

I live in a remote region of Western Australia and never saw a city like that before. Thanks ActionKid.
You must be bored
@@IadoreyouMaxxy if u mean me im not bored at all
@@anairenemartinez165 thanks
Have you seen Oxford Street and bond Street in London?
Same
One of the best narrators on TH-cam wrt NYC and great detail.
The way you explain and show in the camera makes it appear as if we are really walking through the streets. Unlike many others who either don't give enough info or have no idea how to video.
Thanks actionkid
So happy I found your channel I was just in New York attending a trade show on the weekend and staying around the corner from the Flatiron building , so your walk was informative and since I am older cannot walk a long distance so this was very rewarding, I felt like I was walking with you! Thanks so much, Linda, Toronto
This is amazing. A masterpiece. I wish one day make a travel to NYC. Greetings from Patras, Greece!
You filmed this on my birthday. I was there in the 2020 and seeing your video as you explain everything I'm just bombarded with memories from my trip. idk why but I love NYC even before I had the chance to visit it. Now I want to come back in all the stations of the year.
Thanks man!
I was having trouble sleeping and started watching this video. Your voice is so soothing I feel asleep within 10 minutes. 😂 gotta finish watching this now I’m awake.
Thank you 😊
watching this from my country Kenya and i cant believe how much I'm missing out on in life. New York is just beautiful!!...looking forward to being there someday
Some people are so lucky to be born or to be able to live in such beautiful places, other are born in the most boring and f’d up country in a village with population of couple of thousand. It sounds really bad, but it gives me hella lot of motivation. I know where i want to be in future and it helps me keep my discipline and keep working my ass of for this
I could watch this for hours. I wish I can walk on those streets one day.
NYC is such a wonderful place, you need to go sometime it is very fun and beautiful especially at night
I have walked on those streets once. Back in 2011 when I was around 15
Go. I was right there last October for the first time ever..Im 52..I can smell it and feel it just watching this video..Best city in the world.,,And yes..top of the rock is awesome and worth the price.
I live in nyc you’ll get tired of it lol
@@CHiiPMuNKz4LYFe Agree. I walked those streets for thirty years. Mostly big buildings going up now. Concrete city. The charm has gone for me.
What a beautiful city. For me as a german we just dont have cities like nyc. Absolutely fantastic! One day I will walk down this way :D
germany has not big city like US does
@Chris Duane LA,chicago, san francisco, houston are just fucking towns?
Berlin and Frankfurt and probably other German cities are of course much smaller, but still, certain downtown areas have very similar atmosphere.
This is not beautiful. You can't live in such a loud place with so much air pollution. Green cities like German cities are much better.
Hi I performed in everypart if Germany and love it there. You guys treated me beautifully..I'm from NYC. You'd be surprised at the neighborhoods in NY that the architecture resembles Germany.
All Beautiful💖
My family moved out of New York in 2020 because of covid and now I’m in Utah. It’s nice here but nothing can beat the feel of nyc. I hope to live there again when I’m older. I watched this video all the way through and I enjoyed it so much, it made me happy to feel like I’m there again.
I wanna visit Nebraska & Detroit cuz they are serene.
There's no city in the world like NYC, you've yust proofed that, great
I walked down this street as a young visiting hippie back in 1970. Thanks for the memories. I love NYC. I can't even imagine walking down this street again high on acid. Every store has some security type manning the doors...lol. The 4K helps me imagine.
Why can't you??? Are medical problems the reason??

Awesome video, reminds me of my trip to Manhattan. It's great that it's not just walking and ambient sound, awesome narration. Many thanks!
New York is my favorite city, I fell head over wheels in love when i first visited
I'm blessed to have been born in Brooklyn NY and now I'm enjoying life in Los Angeles, will never forget my true home 🖤

Crisp picture, nice narration. Thanks for the personally guided tour down 5th Actionkid! 🤗❤️
I walked this one from Crown Bldg (56th) to 33rd 20 years back for 4,5 years from Monday to Friday. It is amazing how watching this brings up memories. Thanks
I think I could walk forever watching this video, very relaxed and nice knowing about the buildings. Amazing footage too! Thanks for the tour.
Fun fact: as of January 2020 the Empire State Building is the 7th tallest building in NYC. By 2022 it's projected that it won't even be in the top ten.
That's so sad
Doesn't matter, it's still a great building.
1kinu T maybe you will invite me one day I love NY ❤️
Definitely a life save to keep me sane during the quarantine
What an atmospheric city. Movies and such really have captured its feel. So distinctive. Evening in Manhattan looks amazing!
I like the commentary, it gives you some sense of the city instead of just spectating blindly.
NY is actually a wonder of world. unbelievable blindings.
Thank you!
Kid
Love this, brings back so many fond memories of several trips there. Using this for my treadmill walking workouts to make me feel like I'm walking this again. Thanks so much for this. Hope you do more of NYC.

The louis vuitton door. WTF! its sounds like a classical music
Lol🤣
I thought it was real classical music playing from inside the store 😑😑😑
I thought it was a street artist playing a violin for money lol
This is a sign!!!😁
Because Louis Vuitton is a French luxury store.
I’m from England and I have so many butterflies watching this. I will be planning my trip soon for next year, I can’t explain how much I’ve always wanted to go to NY ✨
This was exactly what I’d want to see and what I will pretty much be doing across the whole of NY haha. Walking, walking and walking. I love shopping aswell so it’s gonna be awesome!
May God lend us more life so that we can experience many things that we wish. 🙏🏾
I know this is late, but I hope you had fun on your trip! Americans love British tourists.
@@mitsokoThankyou very much. I am still yet to visit, as several attempts to book it have not materialised due to the accommodation and personal stuff 😭

Outstanding. Thank you. I was raised in New York. I haven’t been back in 45 years. This video is amazing. Priceless.
I’m from Buenos Aires Argentina I been many times in NY,
I love the city, I love the museums, I love the Broadway musicals I love the buildings and the people from NY is amazing!!
Really enjoyed your walk and commentary. Thank you
This was a great video, you did an awesome job narrating it. I really enjoyed it!
New York is a monument to humanity. Every attraction is manmade. 🤩
Seems great until you live there and can’t get to untouched nature easily. Then it’s depressing.
Common Unicorn Central Park has acres of nature..
Maurice Johnson not untouched. It’s carved out and not exactly free of crowds. Yeah 59st is busiest but so is the northern end.
Common Unicorn touched or untouched doesn’t really matter.. had it not been public knowledge that it was man made would you know?.. cause I wouldn’t, a lot looks natural and untouched for NYC if you ask me
Howard Roark laughed.
VERY CLEAR, SMOOTH, NARRATIVE AND STABLED VIDEO. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Most people wear black in NYC because it matches with their everyday lifestyle and whatever situation they find them selves.
Jay75Euro black matches their soul
I am so glad i’ve finally been able to find content like this! I love people watching while walking or driving but I don’t get out much. If only I could combine this with rain sounds and a 360 camera view. Still, this is a great video!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
You’re welcome! I’m so glad you enjoyed my video. I actually grew up in Queens.
when I was in my late teens / early twenties - at least once every Christmas I would walk from The Plaza Hotel to Washington Square Park to do some of my Christmas shopping and to see everything - and in every neighborhood I would add to my purchases - coming home , finding it hard to balance all I thought I could carry !
That is so sweet!
@@rebekahalessi3731 , when I look back at it now , I think funny , more than sweet , and maybe a bit pathetic ! but it was once my life , and now it's not ! - it took a lot of living , and a lot of tears , for me to learn how to celebrate Christmas !
Have been to NYC twice and this felt like being back there again! Thank you for posting this.
very nice footage. I always wanted to see NYC this way. thanks bro.
There's something beautiful living in New York, specially in Winter. Such a great city.
This absolutely brought memories of where I was born and raised. During the 60s, my mother used to take my sister and I shopping in 5th ave because all the bargain stores were there. We never imagined it would become so upscale as it is today. I miss it so much but sadly I can no longer afford to live there.
really thank you for this opportunity to see and understand the world
