No, it's absoultely worst next to FD4. They didn't add anything new to plot. Character development is zero compared to previous movies. Cast is full of toxic characters. Wendy is boring and always whining. Only interesting character is Kevin. And he is the one who alerted her about Flight 180. It's the only movie which they only guess who's next and that's all. Even Nick is more compelling and competitive. He saved another huge disaster for the second time( Mall)

@@tmm4195 It's because of Mary Elizabeth. Most people like her as an actress. Objectively FD1,FD2 and FD5 is better movie. Even IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes says that.

Crazy you considered the deaths weak. Usually when people bring up the most popular ones, it’s always the tanning bed ones, the nail gun, even Frankie and Lewis’ deaths are super popular among the community. Wendy is also usually regarded the best main character next to Alex. This one is a toss up for my favorite next to 5.
The nail gun scene gave me nightmares for months

My biggest fear is being trapped in a hot room with the heat getting hotter
Fun fact about the tanning bed scene, the stunt actress actually was on fire, they used a gel that would allow her to be on fire for about 30 seconds.
Weakest? Personally I think this is the best in the franchise. The next one is by far the worst.

the 4th was good in cinemas as it was 3D but watching without its just bad CGI

This was honestly my favorite FD movie. I use it to justify avoiding coasters.

@@TheMikeLawz Ou of all the films, I remember the 3rd one exclusively for the ending. The characters die on the train. Then the psychotic writers, end the film with a rock version of the classing song "Love Train". I fell out laughing when I heard that ending music.

@@xxxentbrandonredhoodrobins7606 I watched the film again recently and realized that the scene where the girls die in the tanning salon, had the background music "roller coaster" in it, knowing that the characters died in a roller coaster at the beginning.
They writers were straight trolling in this movie. haha
The Tanning Bed scene: if the girls checked the sides to see why the bed was not opening, they would have saw that one had to push the plank into the other bed, get out and then help the other girl. But it's understandable due to their panic.
Btw I LOVE 3. The lead actress acting was brilliant IMO. The way she portrayed the constant anxiety...
I heard something like that actually happens in an alternative way for the story to unfold in the specialized DVD version. But yeah, the panic would make what would otherwise be common sense a lot less plausible.
The side by side beds cut to the side by side coffins was low key an iconic transition scene
i’m 20 years old and i didn’t get on any rollercoasters until i was like 18 and i still refuse to get into a tanning bed .. this movie scarred me .. but it’s definitely one of my favorites .. :)

Tanning beds are honestly terrifying on their own. This very confined space? And then there was this movie.
Reason why I love this movie; awesome deaths, interesting characters, and cool storyline. I mainly love the fact that they tried to do something with conspiracy theories. Those pictures they edited to make it seem like those deaths were meant to happen because essentially, they were in our history. No matter how terrible, there's a reason for everything and that made me love the movie more. But I hate that it was only talked about once and it wasn't like a main focus. Despite it being a final destination movie. I just wish it was in other Final Destinations because it's such a cool concept.
If the coroner was in this (I know his voice is) it would be better.
The dvd version of this included a choose your own adventure style thing where you could have the characters do different things to possibly trigger slightly alternate deaths or in I think one case actually save someone. I think in one version Frankie can actually live depending on what you choose. There's also a really funny one that will cause the characters to not get on the rollercoaster at the start and prematurely triggers the end credits. It also had an option to like read some newspaper articles peppered throughout the scenes which actually told you what happened to ther survivors from the second film.

That hardware store scene really did freak me out because my mom worked at home depot and I would sometimes hang out with her at the store after school and there were so many unsafe practices lol
Fun fact: that 9/11 shot someone actually took that picture the day before it happened and its an unexplained mystery
15 minutes isn’t that much time. I’ve worked at plenty of tanning salons - some beds do 30 minutes. And yeah everyone gets butt naked. And lots of people use headphones although music is also playing through the speakers. And yes we clean the beds very very well after each customer lol

I definitely think this is the most underrated of the series, it tends to get lumped in with 4 (which is a completely trashpile of a movie lol) as bad which I disagree with. I actually prefer this one to the second.
While 2 has the edge with an awesome disaster scene, 3 has more consistently awesome deaths and I feel like the characters here are more entertaining. A lot of the characters in this film are pricks, but they have more personality than the kinda boring cast from the last one (plus I dont like how the second movie’s characters were all strangers without any prior connection since the 1st and this one have a high school graduating class as the leads)
4 is going to be an…interesting watch lol. Easily the worst of the franchise 💀
There is no way that Part 3 is remotely in the same category as Part 4. Part 4 is bottom of the barrel.
actually i'm pretty sure most fans consider 3 the best movie, from my experience anyway.
the first 3 are considered the golden trilogy basically and the 5th was a return to form.

YES, FD3 is my favorite because of the new idea, the character needs to identify who will die by looking carefully at the pictures which I think is great. Also, tbh, I love the deaths here, it's addicting, actually, all of the deaths in the entire franchise are addicting except FD4.
FD2 is second for me, it's great but character-wise and death-wise there's some deaths that is weird and some characters you said, aren't connected to each other, which became weak for me.
@Not Alfie Yes, I really appreciate her when I watched the behind the scene where she literally cry in the train scene even though there's almost no tears left on her.

For the tanning bed death and burning, a super brave stunt woman was willing to be smothered in flame retardant gel and was then set on fire for the close up of the girls burning. Also for the fast food death, on the first take, the motor pulled on a track ro smash into the stunt car, but went a little to far, and ended up smashing into the set up camera, thankfully the camera wasn't damaged. Also , since they could find an already existing food place on a hill ,they built their own from scratch.
This movie traumatized me with rollercoasters man.

I didn't ride one for six years after watching this then when I did ride one I had anxiety the whole way through. =P LOL!!! I mean, the accident scene is over the top but...I didn't care. It was believable enough for me.
@@DanielSelk true story. My friends talked me into going on the joker and I waited for them lol I went on a smaller one but was still freaked out. 1 week later one of the rides were stuck! Never again lol
Fun fact: the train scene was actually a miniature well done and took a few shots to get it perfectly. Behind the scenes.
The 6 Flags leg thing was actually a teen girl if I remember, it severed both her feet, and they only could find one to reattach.
A couple nips slipped through the edit boys hahaha. When someone mentions Final Destination this is the one I think of first, but it’s definitely not my favorite either. I’d probably rank them (best to worst) 1, 5, 2, 3, and 4.

mine would be 3,5,1,2,4. fd3 has a special place in my heart. that movie made me a mary winstead fan. and no, i don't hate fd2 just because its low. i actually liked the characters on fd2, i feel like they had THE BEST characters in the whole series. the coke whore dude, short haired girl, the biker, and clear are my favorites.

I think out of all of the movies, this is probably my favorite. Rollercoasters are a thing I've gone on a lot and I've heard of horrible crashes so it kind of rang true to me somewhere in my heart.
I remember there being arguments on the boards (years and years ago lol) about since Frankie got off it shouldn't have crashed. His camcorder only sped up the crash, it didn't cause it.
This one has the gruesome death scenes of the franchise and it’s the most rewatchable of all
I'm not sure about the man you guys mentioned who lost one of his legs, but here in Louisville we had a girl lose both of her legs on that ride at our Six Flags roughly 12 or 13 years ago. My brother actually went to school with the girl and I had met her a few times through him. Because of her accident and this movie, my stomach churns at thinking about getting on roller coasters to this day.

This was DEFINITELY on the same level as the first movie. I remember this and the first always being by far the best out of this little franchise. I think you two are the first to not like number three lmfao. I grew up watching FD3 with my family and step family. It was their favorite easily. It's a fun ride and great story and characters. And great music. I loved the villain too. He gave interesting theories. Probably one of the most interesting characters out of the whole franchise easily.
@7:42 it's Joey Ramone...you know, from the Ramones? Do you remember at the rollercoaster when everyone was chanting "hey ho, let's go" when they were impatient and wanted the ride to start? That's a Ramones' song. It's the movie basically hinting the audience that "shit is about start"
I actually really love this movie, FD 3 was my favorite in the franchise haha. Also, these movies made me so scared of roller coasters, elevators, and driving behind trucks that have stuff in the back part. These movies are really interesting for sure

That Six Flags incident was actually a teenage girl. And she had to have her leg amputated.
No, guys they literally straight up put a reference to 911 in their movie. The plane in that picture is not even loosely a reference to 180, which gets mentioned separately.

This movie is one of my favourite in the franchise. Deaths were quite creative and I actually liked some of the characters (including Ashlyn and Ashley, they were nice in their own way :(( their deaths were way too harsh, it should’ve been the pervy guy). I also liked that the clues were in the photos, not in random visions throughout the whole movie. The chemistry between Wendy and Kevin was good too. Also! M. E. Winstead is by far one of the best protagonists in the franchise, in my opinion. Her acting’s great.
Okay, so the Final destination movies are good, but this one is also amazing BUT the 4th one is consider the worst of the franchise, because while the 1st 3 movies they use practicle effefts and blabla, in FD4 they had the brillant idea to use CGI and... some deaths looks really bad and EXAGGERED... BUT do this one too, in the 5th movie CGI was used too but a WAAAY better than the 4th one,
That’s because the 4th one was 3D. So everything was overdone ‘toward the camera’ very obnoxiously lol

I would say they definitely upped the craziness in this one, maybe the one think this one is lacking a bit is suspense, the 1st one had the most of that, like build up and stuff, but I guess at this point they decided to just embrace the madness and go all out with it :D this one is usually considered the best but if people prefer the previous two thats okay I think this whole first trilogy is quite solid overall :)

Honestly seeing this film with the rollercoaster made me scared for a while. I love Rollercoasters now it just depends on the height & if it’s made out of metal. Also those sun tan beds always make me scared

One the characters that was in the tanning bed scene is played by the same woman who was the little in the 1990 It series, she had the scene with Pennywise with all the laundry

I haven't seen the full movie but just based off the reaction videos I've seen on this I'm not scared of these movies but just the thought of how the littlest things can trigger something that could kill you or another person is what gives me that eerie feeling
Roman remembering the movie is me when I realized where my fear of rollercoasters stems from. Saw this movie when I was like 12 or something, traumatized me with rollercoasters for life.
In the CD for this movie you could actually try and save them

The tanning bed secen has got to be the best but the worse death ever in final destination history. To be caught in or have be in most people die pretty quickly other the Todd and the Teacher and even still is ay they got off easier the beds slowly getting hotter and you body blistering slowly and probably popping then catching on fire. It is by far the most painfully also one that is harder to get out if you are caught in.
I'm actually cursed by this movie. Ever since I watched it, I never had a chance riding the roller coaster, whether its under maintenance, long line, or sudden illness. Hahah.

When I was 10 my older sister looked after me one night when my parents went out for the night. She put this film on, it was my first time seeing any kind of horror or scary movie, the roller coaster and the tanning bed scenes still give me ptsd.
5:07 was at a fair on a double date, my and my best friend got on a small one that still went upside down, mine was loose😭 so between me and her we were both holding in down so i wouldn’t fall out💀
