    In a dream an animal bite me in the finger but there was no pain at all and I woke up from the dream. When I am awake and an animal bites me in the finger I know there will be pain. Is this because in a dream there is no identification with „I am a body“?

      I don't know about physical pain in a dream , but it is very common to feel extreme fear in a dream - hence the term nightmare. Fear in response to an unreal situation . Hence when we awake we get that deep sense of relief and freedom - a small taste of sat cit ananda . Best wishes 🙏🕉️

      there's identification with another body for sure but as Michael said it's not such strong. so, why there's no pain remains open quest!

      @@nikibotev5478 Sometimes I wake up because there is pain or some discomfort in the body, so I have trouble sleeping because of this. But once I fall a sleep there is no physical pain even when I dream of a painful thing. Yes, I have experienced fear in dream and the relief of realization „oh, it was just a dream“ after waking up. The dream I had is weird because of the absence of pain an fear. I think God is a genius in creating all this, but still the highest truth is that there is no creation at all. Nobody will believe this.

      @@pinolini6987 well wake is wonder dream. it accumulate consequences. obviously has a store :) the problem is we cannot take it as dream now.
      Here's another approach to pain: pain doesn't actually exist. try to find your sleeping body while dreaming. there will be a shock to the system:) puzzle. but now fear seams to exist in both states. bhagavan said these things don't concern us. Maya has the capacity to delude u

      @@nikibotev5478 This sounds interesting, I never tried to find the body while sleeping, to do this I have to be aware that I am a sleep. I will try. But I tried to catch myself when falling a sleep and so far failed to do so.

    I came here looking for one specific thing, and i may have missed it - the memory of a personality. Is it annihilated or does the soul have memory of the act it left behind when it left the body? And if it is annihilated, is it a tathasthu because it may have been one's dominant belief? and that the next dream will be based on what we hold as our primary concept ?

      forget about the memory. give it up. we don't control it. we don't own it. it just seems we have it. it will be scattered

      @@nikibotev5478 I can forget about memory and go by all the rest in your message. But what is the answer to my question?

    • @pinolini6987
      @pinolini6987 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The person, you take yourself to be, is a fiction, your personal memory is just a part of that fiction.
      Are you interested in fiction or do you what to know what is real?

      @@priortokaraew7569 fine, so reality will answer your question.
      If you want to know what something in reality is, you have to look at it, you have to investigate it. Go on for your self, look at your question, investigate it. Where does it come from? To whom does the question appear ? Where does the desire for an answer come from? Who is the one desiring an answer. Reality will answer your question.
