  • Have you ever visited Stanley Park?
On August 11th 2019, the Salomon Vancouver Team put together a run around Stanley Park, in Vancouver, BC.
The goal was to explore our backyard further and explore every single trail of the park, where most of the 8 million people who visit it every year only stick to the beautiful seawall.

Hello Friends, if you don't know who I am, here's a little more about me.
    My name is Brice.
I was born in Rennes, France.
After graduating from film school in 2003, I moved to Paris, starting a career in the film industry.
One of my first assignment was assistant editor on an animal documentary. Presented by Warner Independent Pictures and National Geographic Feature Films, "March of the Penguins" became a box office hit and Oscar winning documentary touching the hearts of audiences around the globe.
My time spent in Paris was shared between his film editing and my love of photography.
In 2009 I decided to follow my long sought after dream and moved to Canada.
My passion for photography soon became an obvious career and, whether it is for portraits at my Vancouver studio, or for larger commercial jobs on location, all around the world, I am now happy and proud to devote all of my time and energy doing what I love most. Photographing/filming athletes for running brands and magazines, and capturing my adventures for outdoors brands.
When I am not photographing big commercial projects, I also work on personal projects like "Studio to Trails". Which has been widely popular in North America amongst the trail running community.
My client list includes: Salomon, TED, New Balance, Asics, AirBnb, Canadian Running Magazine, British Columbia Magazine, Trail Runner Magazine.

Ran most of the trails in the park this summer and it’s amazing. The route from third beach along the old forest route to lost lake is great. Another good run is along seawall to rose gardens and then to bridge that crosses over 99 to other side of park to prospect point. Running around seawall is great but also run the trails and run Lions Gate bridge to north van.

Great video! What a dream day for runners! I love the idea of being able to try demo shoes/gear on a run.

Only ever cycled through the network of Stanley Park trails but I ran the seawall every morning of our holiday in the city. Cool to see one of my favourite parks in the world on here.

Digging your videos. I’ve been planning to make a ‘should triathletes run trails video’ for my channel but it’s just taking a little time to get to it. Looking forward to more of these trail videos! Beautiful 👌

Thank you so much for the kind words! And the answers is YES, triathletes should definitely run trails. But I am looking forward to seeing your take on it once you put the video out. Cheers.

I had a Crane 3 Steady Cam and I was driven around in an electric cargo bike by my friend Katie. :) This whole combo made for pretty steady footage.

If you check out Salomon Vancouver on facebook, or even Salomon Vancouver Trail Lab, it might be on there. Otherwise, our leader Katie Mills will for sure have it. She is in charge of the trail lab facebook account.

I wouldn't advise women to run on those trails alone. Zombies everywhere in that forest.

These trails are pretty safe during the day though, but night time, I'd have to agree. Not about zombies, but mostly about men who don't behave properly when it gets dark.
