The fact that you don't have a million subscribers is insane. Nobody is timing the drone shots and petting the puppies like you. Respect

Absolutely nailed this one. So happy to see you go back to your old style. The music and mix of drone and ground footage makes for a much more emotionally powerful film.

Thanks to the overwhelming natural beauty of the area you covered and your stellar photography, I found myself crying almost uncontrollably throughout the hiking portion of this video. Let's just say because of other commitments and forest fires, it's been too long since I went backpacking in the Sierra. For a minute, I felt disappointed when the hiking portion of the video ended and you switched to being a talking head, sharing some details about your business and personal life. But the details were interesting, and thanks to the photography and your applying your minimalist philosophy to your presentation, it remained interesting and felt genuinely respectful of my time. So, thumbs up for the whole video! You are such a class act, so genuine, competent, and likable. Thanks.

Kraig - I hope you can take a moment to reflect how beautifully portrayed this is from you. I am thankful that you are you, that you have this interest in hobby in hiking and filmning it and that you make it possible for me, from my bed in Sweden, to watch the beatiful and calming nature - so that I can be in the middle of it all. Nature is beautiful as it is, but it's nothing I would have seen if it weren't for you. So, thank you!

New format is great. I agree doing a recap at the end is best. That was brave to be honest about two brands. Surprised they didn't have NDAs in their contracts. I see a lot of TH-camrs say they use products like that big popular green juice and then when you google the product to find out what's actually in it you find it's been slammed by so many scientists and nutritionists and it's full of bad things like lead. I understand creators gotta make a living but people need to research before they buy. A paid ad is a paid ad. :) Love your minimalism the most. When I go hiking I carry way too much.

New format and video 10/10, as always, doesn’t matter if you use the iphone camera or the sony camera. Always do what makes you more happy, because real followers want you to be happy doing whatever you want. The hiking guide should be paid, it has a lot of value for people that want to do the same hike.

I often realized that im into these loops where i enjoyed youtubers but after a couple months or a year, i get bored or loose interest with them. And then it hit me when i checked it's been 3 years+ since i watched your videos and i knew what makes me consistently love it: i love your vibe. Not your contents. So even though you already make some changes along the way i always love it cause you always bring the best vibes to it that i enjoyed pretty muchh. Thank you kraig adams!

Ideal video format for me. I like the silent moody videos, but also appreciate the details / talking parts. Both together like this video is best.
I also like knowing about the advertiser / promotion details. Most social media people don't talk about that, they try to hide it. Being open is neat.

Kraig love the videos, back stories and the choice of background music. Your videos have been a source of trail inspiration for both my wife and I. I have actually been in a dentist office where they were streaming your longer videos for waiting patients. Everyone was watching. Keep sharing your story and blazing new trails for us to consider. We hiked the Laugavegur based on your videos. Always looking for awesome US based dog friendly trails too!

If I'd known you were coming I would've warned you about those notorious summer bugs on the northshore during the summer. The best time is definitely in the autumn. No insects at all and nice cool temperatures plus the fantasic falls colors to appreciate. Also, the blueberries then aren't to bad either. I was feeling itchy just watching you set up camp along the ridgeline there. There are many, many much more beautiful treks in this region. These are just the easiest accessed trails and hence the more popular destinations of course which in turn get recommended more often. Good to see you in the neighbourhood.
    Cheers.

Great video as always! Got to say, tho, I miss the long format, 20+min silent hiking films in places we didn't know existed. I often find myself rewatching those Alta via 2, Everest basecamp and Picos de Europa films. Not to mention Torres del Paine, a trek I did myself only because of you. But, of course, it could be only me tho. Again, loving the content!
