Wow those are keepers for sure 😮
@@Mendoluv Most of them... There were some small fries that didn't make the cut to get into my take home bag 🎣
Dope vid bro. What lb test were you using on those rods? And were all your jigs 500g?
@@Jifnei thanks!!! I was going back and forth from a 500g and 250g. I could have possibly went lighter because the current was not strong at all. I'm running 20lbs on both poles but the silver Saltiga has a thinner diameter 4 stand braid and the blue gold Saltiga has a 0.23mm diameter 8 stand braid to keep the accuracy of the line counter. Each pole has a different jig Max though... 300g and 620g
@ Okay nice thank you for the info! 500g is solid for 300ft and deeper though right?
@@Jifnei i would do a 100g to 300g for 300ft of water depending on the current. You want to stay as vertical as possible so you can work the jig properly up and down the column. You will read and watch different things but in my experience so far I would say 1 gram per meter to 1 gram per foot of water. Depending on the current and ability to stay vertical. I will be doing a slow pitch tutorial soon based on what i have learned, how to work my jig, how i selected equipment, how i tie my assist hooks, etc etc very soon.
@@pressure7seven okay dope! Sounds good man thanks for the advice!
How deep are these waters?
@@ryannamoctv2084 typically up to 600ft... Deepest I've been so far was 680ft
How long have you been doing slow pitch?
@@jmfishing86 i want to say it's been almost a year now.
