I would have to say the second or third logo, which was kind of a behind the scene look at how Aardman did their first logo, and the one with the printing machine.
The first Aardman opening scared me too! And so did the first logo for DreamWorks (the night one) - something about the eerieness of both of those just terrified me - I used to run off and hide until the opening titles were over! Big Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run fan here!
Great Aardman logo history, Jonty! Now I gotta say that this company created my favorite movies and TV shows, like Shaun the Sheep, and Wallace and Gromit for example! I hope I can tune in to another logo history made by you! And happy 50th anniversary to Aardman! Edit: I changed from TR3X to Jonty, whoops! Sorry 'bout that.
Awesome logo history of Aardman Animations, Jonty! Happy 50th anniversary, Aardman Animations! Aardman is best known for its stop-motion animated shows, its most famous work being Wallace & Gromit. Wallace & Gromit is a classic, especially in the UK! However, the 1st logo was Fabian (TR3X)'s scariest logo when he was a young child. Nevertheless, some of my favourite logos from Aardman would be the 3rd logo and the cinematic version of the 4th logo. The 3rd logo does have creative animation in it. The cinematic version of the 4th logo is really creative and does have beautiful CGI. The new logo from 2022 depends of what you think of it, if it's a fresh change or bland and oversimplistic. At least they kept the star instead of throwing it in the logo trash just like Starz did.
Thanks, Man! I agree with most of your comments. The third logo is creative indeed, and the 4th logo has great CGI. The 2022 logo's not bad in my opinion, and I'm glad they kept the star instead of banishing it to the shadow realm like Starz. Stay tuned for my logo history on KingWorld!
Brilliant logo history of Aardman, Jonty!!!! Can't believe that Aardman turns 50 years this year, congratulations to them!! I'd definitely remembered watching some of their shows for when I was a kid, especially Wallace and Gromit, Morph, Chicken Run and Shaun the Sheep, which that show is definitely the most rememberable to me!! But there's one thing that I remembered about this other show Morph, was that scary 1st logo at the end, the one with the face. It really scared the heck out of me as a kid (same with my brother Fabian), although I'm not scared of it that much now. And also, isn't there this one show from Aardman called Angry Kid, which that one is not for kids, because of all the jokes, and it's overall a very strange show. Although I've wondered if his face was based off that 1st logo, because it weirdly does. But yeah, other than that, if I did pick a favourite, then my most favourite logos from Aardman would have to be the 3rd and 4th logo, cause they're great!! But yeah like as always, awesome logo history Jonty and keep up with the awesome work!!!! :D :) ;)
Thanks, Dylan! Aardman really has come a long way from where they began, and I definitely remember watching Shaun the Sheep and the spin-off, Timmy Time! Timmy Time is probably the most memorable. I used to watch it loads back in the early 2010s. I've heard that you and your bro were scared of the clay-face logo. Man Ferro told me that. The show Angry Kid is AWESOME. It even made a brief return in 2015 and 2019. I agree with your favorites. They are great *indeed!* Stay tuned for my logo history on KingWorld!
@@JontyMaster And just last thing, what I do like about Angry Kid (the new series) was the part where he reads and replies to comments, which kinda reminds me of the old Go!Animate ask series, which is pretty interesting!! :)
Wow amazing. Aardman is my most favourite animation studio of all time. I know they are most famous for their projects, Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Morph and Chicken Run. That third logo (2000-2009) is my favourite one as well. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
2:49, this brings me back my childhood memories that I used to watch this series. I still miss my favorite shows, including "Mower Mouth" one of my funny shows I've ever watched. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@thategg9447 I still don't like the clay-face though. Do not try to make me change my opinions. No offense, but while I like Aardman, I am afraid of the clay-face and Aardman is just the title of the animation studio and a short film featuring the super-hero, not the clay-face. So don't convince me we're on the same boat when we're not.
Such a shame how bland the new logo is. They should've kept the older one, but tweaked the star a bit and add an extra details around the edge of the fonts to make them look more Hand Paint like. It doesn't feel right when the Star and The A are the same size as the rest of the words now. It doesn't feel grand or British anymore, but bland and unimaginative, excluding the idea of fingerprints in the background, though that could've been more subtle and less in your face.
While the style is simpler I think the animation and movement of the new logo helps keep a lot of that aardman charm going. It's very animated and fitting for them even if the actual logo is rather basic
Thanks For My Request!! And Happy 50th Anniversary To Aardman Animations!! Also, I'm Back!! Did You Miss Me? I Was Inactive On TH-cam For A Couple Of Days.
