    For some reason, many people think Muay Thai is a stand and bang art. The Muay Femur style are artistic technicians and they represent a huge category of Muay Thai fighters that go against this thinking.
    In every combat sports you will find fighters that like going head-to-head without first gathering information. This is not the case of these chess masters, each move is deliberate on drawing a reaction. If you bite to their feints, they will progressively pick you apart. This is a masterful demonstration of a fundamental chain in the femur style: the lead side triple threat.
    In just two minutes, Nong-O showcases pattern setting and combat chess at it's finest.

      Lawrence, the first strike landed in this video appears to be to the solar plexus, not the liver. Just thought i'd point this out. Thanks for the amazing videos.

      PtaRiStyle cheers bro, but I see it hitting the liver and I've viewed it 30 times :)

      todd doe hey Todd, for this version it's a bit tougher because the eBook includes video technology. It's also more expensive and I probably can't afford doing that yet

      Okay thank you. I trust you. The reason in my saying this, his foot comes onto his right breast and shin appears to strike solar plexus, about where he holds himself and clutches over. I have been hit with a similar shot and reacted the same way. Brutal to the plexus will stop anyone IMO. Of course I am not trying to insult you in any way with my observation. Thank you for the many great videos that highlight things otherwise going unseen.

    Hey Lawrence Kenshin can you do a breakdown of a very skilled Muay Thai in-fighter on how they use the clinch to set up knees and elbows? I think the Thai clinch is something that needs a lot more attention here in the West.

    What I like the most is the retraction of Nong-O's kick; still able to block or teep before his opponent if he was to engage a counter

  • @randomaznguy21
    @randomaznguy21 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Damn, had no idea Muay Thai could get this technical! Deliberately throwing certain moves to see how your opponent reacts and then throwing a carefully crafted combo afterwards that exploits the openings in your opponent's reactions. Flat out brilliant! My appreciation for this sport (and Mr. Kenshin's analyses) have increased 10x fold.

    I have passion in watching your analysis man,I like to see analysis of Danny Bill vs Coban. Especially the way Danny was defending from Coban hook counters..I've watched it, and I saw that whole plan of Danny was defending those attack regarding checking kicks by raising his hands,regarding the results I liked the way he defend those counter attacks...

    That little sweep, Saenchai did the Same thing to him in there first fight. When Nong-O through his roundhouse, Saenchai did his lean, and as Nong-O came in following his momentum, I think he thought Saenchai would have fallen back. Since his momentum brought him so close and put of balance, and since Saenchai didn't fall back the way he thought he would, he through his hands to cover his face, stood straight up, like he was riding an elevator. Legs close together, knees almost straight (EXAGGERATING A BIT) and Saenchai just dropped him. Kinda like this. Nong-O seemed to have found something special there second fight. Even though he lost, I think he through Saenchai, more than Saenchai did him. That's was the other thing. Saenchai couldn't toss him the way he does other when they were in the clinch.
