Nong-O vs Ramazanov went down recently and I had a number of requests to breakdown the fight. I love the matchup because it is 2 guys with opposing styles. This is a fantastic fight and Nong-O is always jaw dropping to watch. Enjoy!

Coach Gabriel you missed a key factor in this fight. There was no respect! Ramazanov pretended to shoot Nong-O with his finger at the face off and then taunting when he was getting smashed. When Nong-O dropped ramazanov he dropped him in nong-o’s corner and Trainer Gae was shouting at ramazanov to stay down😂Then Nong-O celebrates with a machine gun like Tony Montana. This stuff is diffrent level. Also Trainer Gae and Nong-o proceeded to pretend to shoot Ramazanov when he was getting medical care and the medic was pushing them away 😂😂Gangster classic Nong-O he is a assasin

The most offensive gesture you can do to a Thai is point at them, especially in the face.
Little alone pistol pointing his finger at NONG O’s head
It was never going to end well for him after he did that 😅

Oh OK. I was thinking Nong-O seems to really have something against Ramazanov, first doing the machine gun after giving him such a proper hiding and then the gun thing as well. I missed the face off. Now it all makes sense... I really don't know why anyone would want to piss of Nong-O before fighting him. Too cocky for his own good 😳😵‍💫😵

Great insight! I think Ramazanov operates better in the cage. His fight style works better when he can retreat and evade sideways when under pressure. Being in the ring it’s harder to get the spacing he needs and he gets pressure into the corner forcing him to fight his way out.

Ramazanov was finally forced to fight in a Muay Thai roped ring, instead of the over-sized MMA round cage without corners. Haggerty and he will fight every round running on the back foot if you let them in the circle. As Ramazanov is starting to take more and more punishment in his more recent fights, his speed has slowed by a fraction of a second and when he has nowhere to run, he gets flustered and afraid of getting KOd. Teep kicking Nong-O in the face the dumps and waiving Nong-o to hit him were a bit disrespectful to the Legend, but he made him pay for every little bit, with a smile on his face. Excellent fight by both fighters

At the face off Romazanov pistol 🔫 pointed his finger 👈 at NONG O’s head
I learned living with my fiancé in Thailand during Covid the most offensive physical gesture you can do to a Thai person is point at them in the face.
As a westerner I’d point at things all the time.
She would panic when I did that as a Thai might think I was pointing at them
Gabriel pointed out NONG O with the machine gun finish after the fight
That would have been payback for that.
If you watch when Romazanov when he goes down in the background in different shots you can see Trainer/Kru Gae who trained NONG O for part of his training camp going off and pistol pointing his finger at him.
I laughed when I saw Romazanov pistol point his finger at him , because although NONG O is a very kind and humble person and didn’t react on the outside besides smile gently, inside I am sure being Thai he would have been thinking you are going to pay for that 🤣
Thai’s I notice often keep inside their feelings of anger because I think of Buddhist culture, that it’s not good to show as you can loose face.
You earn a lot of respect for acting calmly
Very rarely do you hear Thais shouting, they don’t like loud talking.
Quite possibly NONG O would have been feeling insIde what Clubber Lang’s prediction is was in Rocky 3 when he could finally express himself in the ring 😅
