The graves 😢. You continue to bring the heart and soul to your videos, Oreste. Your voice, expressions, the footage and music all tell a part of the story of Ukraine at this time. Sending love from Vermont in the United States.
I'm impressed with Dnipro, what a fine city. I hope to see a free & peaceful Ukraine before I pass-on (80) Orest, those graves brought it home to me how fighting for freedom has always had a high price. I've stood behind my paternal Grandfathers headstone in Northern France, killed in 1918, a visit back some years ago, but the memory still haunts me. My own Father didn't know where it was and anyway didn't travel much to Europe, yet again history found him fighting in what we call WWII, but he survived. Good Luck !
Yes Geoffrey, Dnipro is indeed a very fine city, steeped in interesting history. The people of Dnipro have sadly lost a lot of men to this war. But their resilience and never surrender attitude, draws comparisons with how our relatives in England, defended our island, in the face of the German Nazi aggressors during WWII. There is a real comradery amongst all Ukrainians right now, as they fight and stand firm, for the existence of their great country. Let us pray, that the Ukrainians kick out the invading Russians and finally bring an end to this brutish war, with a deserved victory.
Great video but so sad seeing the graves I said it before but Orest is the best TH-camr (and his team) I can’t wait to visit Ukraine after they win the war 🇮🇪❤️🇺🇦
I have lived in Dnipro for about a year in 2015 and 2016. It is a great city to live in. I miss those days and I would definitely visit it again to cherish my memories. Thank you for this video. I wish for peace and prosperity for Ukraine.
So so beautiful, world class modern infrastructure with beautiful traditional architectute. Wow!💙💛💙💛 your camera work and reporting makes it so special👍. But the devastation is the heart breaking contrast.
Orest Thank you for this great video of Dnipro. Dnipro was my home for 3 years, till the war started. I hope to return someday soon. It made me excited and sad to see familiar site of my second home. I love the city, Ukraine and the people. May peace be won soon.
Very touching video, especially the end of it... So much sad to see so much graves... The price for the freedom is very high... But to win is the only way. And Ukraine will win. Glory to Heroes!
Blaming the war solely on Putin is terribly simplistic. Ever since the fall of the Soviet Union their have been factions trying to steer discontent in Ukraine. The country literally has been since the fall of the USSR in either Russian or in the western influence sphere. A lot of things happened that led to this war.
I really love Dnipro. I have been twice, once in 2016 and again in 2018. It is a very safe city and prices are so cheap. I cashed $600 US dollars to use for the week I was there. I couldn't spend it, everything was too cheap. Coffee was about .70 cents, fine dining for four about $40.00. My favorite part was the river promenade. In the summer it is packed with people and so very enjoyable to walk and people watch. Glad to hear that the people are doing well despite the conflict.
You gave some great facts about Dnipro and yes, this city was once called Yekaterinoslav, named after Catherine the Great. It's central location in Ukraine, has always given it a lot of strategic importance and it is indeed, one of the biggest industrial cities in Ukraine. It's interesting that so many important Ukrainian politicians and oligarchs are from Dnipro. There are several really modern and beautiful parts of the city. When I was living in Dnipro, I used to always love walking along the embankment in the centre of Dnipro. It's a very interesting city with an entertaining night life as well. The people of Dnipro are also one of the most patriotic in Ukraine and they have sadly had so many of their citizens die in this war, while serving their country on the front lines. The cemetery you visited and showed us, is a stark reminder of how sad this war really is. So many lives lost, because of the aggression shown by the leaders of Russia. Thank you Orest, for your great work helping others and for showing us the reality of Ukraine right now, during this brutal war.
Thank you for another fine video, Orest, showing us the reality in Ukraine from the Heartbreaking to the Heartwarming. You and your compatriots and friends are Heroes in your own Humanitarian ways. I wish you much success in your channel, despite the Horrible ongoing War brought upon your Beloved Ukraine by the despicable Vlad the Terrible. I wish that this War end very soon with a complete victory for Ukraine. Slava Ukraini !
You are helping the world learn about Ukraine. Great vlog. I am always recommending your channel on the Ukraine War livestream (The Enforcer) that I watch at 10pm Boston time.
TH-cam has probably shadow banned this channel. What a pity that more people don't see these cities that have only been briefly mentioned in the news. I hope the Operator Starsky video is coming soon. Only way to get even few more subs is to do collaboration videos. Try to interview Denys Davydov and Sternenko some day.
Beware the temptation to build apartment blocks etc on beautiful riverfront parks like those on the Dnipro embankment. You'll never get them back if you do.
Hello orest, I continue watch u r video, nd u r update ukrain condition, Mr. Jalsky is responsible for this condition, nd America should not stop this war, orest NATO not a good organization, plc save u r country orst,
with due regard, we as humans must ask ourselves, if this terrible destruction of human life & living in peace could have been avoided. I have a strong feeling if modern war cannot be won, we must avoid war at all costs, through give & take beneficial to all sides.

Watching this video keeps reminding me of what parts of vibrant Mariupol was like a year ago,,,,,its just nauseating what Putin has done….

Создаётся впечатление, что Ютуб пророссийский. Он за путинских убийц и террористов?
1:18 OMG! I did not know they never finished the Parus building...
They finished, but it's impossible to live there. So, it's abandoned
I like how clean the city looks. Many cities here in the US have a problem with litter.
Дякую.
Вітаю, Оресте! Радий, що ти у нас в гостях!
My birthplace ♥VERY different to the 90's/early 2000's though. Even 2010..

How far above sea level is the city. How deep is the soil to bedrock. What parallel above the equator.
