Female superheroes won't do good at the box office unless she's a big character. Wonder woman is the only character at this point who can maybe make money.

The Marvels has been dethroned by this herstoric movie. What a revolutionary move to make a movie with adult levels of acting but without the adult content. Astounding progress for feminism, diversity and social justice. The future is indeed female. Another successful masterpiece has been made.
i really hope, that the 16 women (and 6 dad's with their 12 year old son's/daughters) who bothered watching this, saw something they could relate to in these wonderfully diverse, well acted, oscar-level real-life acting that resonated with them. We were always warned that drinking too many carbonated, sugar-heavy soft drink would kill you one day, but damn, I am shocked he didn't see that coming.
If I was an exec at Sony with (more) money to burn, I would legit pull a Morbius. It would be the ultimate troll and save face. "Sony - the public is laughing WITH us, not AT us"
If i was making this movie, the plot would be like Terminator. Madam Web and the other 2 teleport to different universes to do a job specific to that universe. Sort of like eXiles. They can't leave until the job is done. This universe they have to protect Mary and Ben Parker, as well as ensure that Mary gives birth to Peter. All while being chased by the Bad Guy, who wants to kill Spiderman in every universe. They eventually kill him and its revealed that there is an entire society dedicated to killing Spiderman. Also, Marketing opportunity of Baby Peter Parker in a little outfit with Spiderman's colors that would've been a parting gift from Madam Web in the movie.
I knew we were in for something special when Dakota Johnson (who, remember, starred in THREE _Fifty Shades_ movies) couldn't even bring herself to pretend to be excited about this movie.
Apparently the Silk Room writers are now being fired. This is dark day for the modern audience era. We are truly the most oppressed group. The patriarchy is clearly still here and shows there is more work to be done.

In "Madame Web 2", SJ Clarkson will continue her Madame Web Trilogy with the second half of the Spider Women origin story. They will get their powers and their costumes. Part 2 will end with a space monster coming to earth, seemingly defeating the Spider Women, and prepare his blue laser sky beam. In "Madame Web 3", SJ Clarkson will finish the trilogy with the Spider Women defeating the space monster and turning off the blue sky beam.
