  • A common misconception is that the only value of work is in the money one earns. But spending one's best years on keeping quiet in the face of disrespect and unethical behavior leaves one with no legacy in the latter years. Respect and dignity are priceless.
Mordecai Ogada is a conservation consultant and carnivore ecologist.

A great conversation that should be a national spotlight. Keep inviting Dr. Ogada to educate us.

I've been in a few Tech workshops where organizers told us tucome up with solutions (labda ni health, education, transport, environment) and they literally host, feed you etc, in the most recent one, waliturecord pia. strange sana. trying to reach out to the organizers later (cause wanakupeanga business card), they don't respond. doesn't add up

Won't lie, I almost joined that bandwagon of fraud stars back in my early 20's but Ogada's point on if we can regain our dignity down the line really hit me home and I had to kill that desire right there. My friends who hanged around it got hooked to that lifestyle and are constantly looking for the next big heist to survive, it's now a habit for them and an only skill as they age.

That's so True. It's so habitual that I've seen some people actually justify fraud as actual jobs. You are spot on.
