In many African countries, areas of study such as sociology and anthropology are often looked down upon. Yet the proper study of these, leaving out western thinking, would greatly shed some light into how neocolonialism exists today in many sectors of African life. It was European anthropologists who helped the white people understand African culture and thus succeed in conquering us and finally enslaving our minds. I won't even begin get into the obeisance that current governments are doing to the west. Painful reality.

"Youth is not a virtue". Thank you very much Dr Ogada. We're sick and tired of all this instrumentalisation of people to push rubbish.

Pastoralism creates wealth and wealthy people cannot be manipulated.

They also had to fracture African societies during colonialism to make it easier to colonize and hence extract from, this is climate colonialism.

A friend of mine went to go get her PhD in Budapest on the effects climate change has on women from Nanyuki. I didn’t know what to think of it, but after listening to you, I now see it’s all bullshit. She’s been exploited like many of us have - hopefully she realizes that these people don’t care for her, or climate change, or women from her community.

Women are naturally ready to maintain traditional roles in Africa. I don’t know about Kenya but the burden on women in some African countries is too much. Men need to step up. What is wrong with boreholes and irrigation. What is wrong with Africans and why can we not come up with workable solutions? It’s exhausting to constantly and willing be at the bottom of the food chain. If men came up with solutions and demonstrated leadership at all levels of society and we wouldn’t need to go to silly international meetings. They can divide and rule because we are malleable and people want dollars. Davos is an incubator for world domination: Angela Merkle and Putin were groomed for leadership by WEF. How powerful is traditional leadership in Kenya? Reducing Emissions from livestock can begin in America.

Whenever I see environmental or so called development projects focusing on "indigenous people", "youth", "gender mainstreaming" or so called "marginalized communities" I always refrain from laughing out loud.

On the issue of emissions from animals, especially cows, my thinking has always been that bovines do not have a net greenhouse effect on the atmosphere. If they did, their impacts would have happened millions of years ago, seeing as these animals have existed in their billions and billions for millions and millions of years.

THINKING IS VERY DIFFICULT that is why we always prefer to let someone else do it for us. If you want to HIDE something from an AFRICAN, put it in a BOOK.

Brother whether you want to believe in reality or not the weather and climate all change and has many times. I hate when people take lightly survival that could change our path. I have seen results of human ignorance about mortality and it needs to stop.

😂😂😂this guy needs to read a bit more. Best place to start is in Macro Economics...research comparative & competitive advantage.

What is comparative advantage? Are you aware that this concept was created to fool African producers into selling their raw materials cheaply in the market? it has been widely rebuffed by economists around the world but still taught in universities to this day? Also ,what competitive advantage do these European economies have over the African producing country, in the real world, these are just theories and concepts that don't impact or dictate the fortunes of a country, there are other more sinister forces at work like white supremacy & racism that impact upon the country and that need to be highlighted and addressed

The same person claiming livestock rearing/pastrolism causes climate change also wants to establish a labaratory growing synthetic meat.🥲
