I’m so happy her story’s being publicized. God knows I shared on all my social media platforms. The attack on Africans must stop.

Have you guys seen her other videos on her channel? If you do you will notice 2 things. Firstly its all about " victimhood". Secondly she badly wants Validation from Asians. There is a whole series of her trying to snag a Korean boyfriend but failing " Dating in Korea" series. Her trauma of being Black, e.g " Being Ugly in Korea". Also one on why she left South Africa and wont go back. Get to know her better.

I worked in China as a teacher as well. It’s not hard at all to believe that something like this would happen. Africans are treated poorly as they aren’t valued as highly as everyone else. We are always the last ones to be included in things and are only there to fill in spots. I’d imagine, when she told them she wouldn’t renew her contract, she immediately lost any usefulness to them. I’ve seen a British white person ( who to Chinese people are the most valuable ) who had worked at a place for 10 years, not get so much as a thank you or goodbye after mentioning that they would resign. So it’s incredibly toxic, not just to the foreigners but to each other as well. They treat each other like numbers and statistics.
Let’s not forget what they did to our brothers and sisters in Guangzhou during Covid lockdowns. Threw people out of their rented apartments. Those that were lucky were barricaded in their homes and couldn’t leave. I have friends that went through this and had to rely on their neighbours for basic amenities. This was just to the African blacks . Other nationalities were even helping people and protesting the injustice. So if their police can do that, they can for sure cover this up. I’m guessing they didn’t expect this woman to take this to the internet and it go viral. I’m sick of their shit.

@pmcjay5397 Africans and black Americans won't come together because Africans are too divided because of tribalism and other non sense. Thats why they come to America and mirror racist whites povs about Black americans; because that tribalism nonsense they practice at home - they bring with them to foreign lands. Black Americans have a long history of fighting back against oppressors (read a history book, from hundreds of years ago until now) So the questions shouldnt be about the americans. Also, the blacks that Europeans , Asians etc despise to most aren't the ones from America. It's the ones from Africa that keep immigrating to their countries

Perhaps it is time we treat them the way that they treat us, (Africans)
They don't. Not in South Korea, not in China (any city) or anywhere. They almost never help unfortunately, and all of us abroad know this so we created our own groups and mini communities to take care of each other.
What?!? I am an African-American and when I see situations like this it is heartbreaking. Especially for a kindergarten teacher, what on Earth could have possibly transpired for anyone to get violent? Highly unfortunate 🙏💐
I agree, it’s really crazy. The reason is because foreign teachers are a commodity, and an expensive one. Finding a new teacher can be costly and an arduous process for the employer. So when she refused to stay, it probably pissed him off that they would have to go back to the drawing board and find another teacher.
The reason is hatred ....and being a racist

The shittiest part of abuse in an organization in collectivistic society is that the bystanders are prone to or basically will NOT do anything for the sake of CONFORMITY. They really see single human life as not worth it. A lot of the times, they would be colluding together, maybe to not become a target themselves (cowardice) or maybe just out of their inhumane perception of a single human life is not comparable to the rest of the group. I mean look at their favored form of aggression, it’s underhanded, covert and subtle in nature. Disgusting.
It is cowardice because they know they will be the next victim if they speak out.
It’s so disturbing 🥺

I spent eleven months in China. The racism towards Africans was on another level. As a white guy, I thought I might experience some discrimination. My African colleagues were denied entrance to a restaurant. We struggled to find accommodation. They were constantly undermined in the project we were involved in. I witnessed racism beyond what I had seen growing up in South Africa.
If you speak to ordinary South Africans who have been there, they will understand. Especially our African brothers and sisters.
The ANC and the EFF think China respects this country? Respects them? They laugh at how easily corruptible Africans can be. We had a fantastic translator, and we were based more in the non-touristy part of the country, but I've never seen anything like it. They aren't even right-wing; they just despise Africans. Damn, I have stories about the casinos, but these are the people our leaders drink 25-year-old whiskey with.
Money is the great equalizer. If you're poor, you aren't in the club, and they have some very strange ways. The plane ride home was the best feeling for the three of us; I'll never forget kissing the OR Tambo floor.
My personal experience - PLEASE NOTE - EVERYONE WILL HAVE THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE - but mine was an eye-opener, and I'll never go back there, and I'll never trust a politician who shakes hands with a country that has oppressed its people so badly sometimes I felt like they had lost their humanity.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed my podcast :)

Sorry Sister. This is a living nightmare. It sounds ABSOLUTELY CRAZY.❤
😮😢😢 this is insane so glad her story is being told
There is nothing worse than being mistreated in your workplace and your colleagues being fully aware and when you need them to back you up they act oblivious. Know this and have seen this. Such a sad story and pray she gets the justice that she deserves. People are usually loyal to those that will benefit them and not those who need justice.
It’s not being loyal it’s being scared
Most people in every country are evil AKA selfish, and will burn forever for it. Those who are unmerciful will get no mercy.
@@miissy5755the other colleagues were threatened too
It scary to testify against your employer as a colleague, since you know that if you testify you might be shown the door and see the gate. So I understand why this other colleagues were scared to stand with her on this case. About China attitude towards Africans is bad we remember how they used to beat up Africans during Covid-19 lock down.
Right
This makes me sick to my stomach😢 our government has failed us PERIOD!!!

No jobs opportunities in South Africa hence we are scattered all over the world. Only when you live abroad you will understand the pain 😢.
there are plenty jobs for teaching in SA is just that they are occupied by foreign nationls
The world is one. Poeple if they have competencies they can look for job every where they want in this world. Is we human Who are stupid and discriminating poeple in south africa, in Uk, in USA, in china. Human beeing are discriminating other and everyone have a reason that he thing is valid. Meanwhile, Ramaphosa rolls the red carpet for the Chinese president but our people are treated horribly that side 😢
Precisely
Of course they have to roll the red carpet for any president that visits, but they have to do all it takes to stop Chinese influence in internal affairs and Chinese employees taking advantage of local employees.
Exactly. Our president couldn't care less. As long as it fills he's pockets.
Meanwhile you treating foreigner so horribly, actually your African brothers
@@user-xq9yo4ud1i"our African brothers" shouldn't be selling drugs to their own
Thank God she's safe. Thinking of those who were burned alive in xenophobic attacks in SA. To be a foreigner is not easy.
stay home
South Africans are teaching in asian countries. Occupying a scarce skill not taking away unskilled labor opportunities from citizens. SAns are there legally and will be back home as soon as their contract is over.
She was there legally and she didn't commit any crime, so stop comparing.
Stay home
There's a huge difference, she was legal and mostly not a criminal. There is no xenophobic attacks in SA.
I'm glad this made national news here hopefully our government can send a South African ambassador
😂
forrrri ntoni ngoku !!! She should come back to SA, ama2k are waiting to welcome her "space muffins"
Argh
I wonder if that will help, our government makes it look like we are such buddies.
@@windy4049 ur govt is bought out by chinese already
thank you for spreading her story!
I'm so happy this made a some sort of News outlet!!!😢😢 this is crazy
Why, do you think that this will erase 500 years of oppression that European people are responsible for.
I'm also happy that her story has been published on national TV and justice for her has to be served even other countries that do the same to Africans must stop the abuse.
Need to hear the other side of the story also. Someone (a Chinese lady) did help her to call the police, the employer also called the police. We all know China is not a lawless country. She left China freely. She bought the air ticket in advance, but why did she try to break the contract? What's her penalty for breaking the contract? Why not also interview the other foreign teachers there?
@@Joo-vw9kbvictim blamer
@@Joo-vw9kbLet me guess.. your from China Nx
You are missing the point of her story (she was abused). So whether China is a lawless country or not,the people she seeked help form clearly didn't give a damn about her. And there is no need to hear the other side of the story in order for justice to be served.
And do yourself a favour, keep you opinions to yourself next time you comment such.
@Joo-vw9kb You're posting this same shit all over the place! Are you Chinese?!
This is exactly what happens in South Africa nobody helps when you are being attacked, people just watch. It is unacceptable, and we should try to sort it out in our own country too.

What a horrible and terrifying experience. I hope all involved are brought to justice.
My nephew was a teacher in China, they treated him so much worse the stories are unbelievable. Even a police officer threw a brick at his face. China is the worst place to go for English speaking employees.
Its good that you've managed to speak out about these abuses from mostly Asian authorities against Africans working either in China or South Korea and many other Asian countries there are prevalent cases of verbal, emotional and physical abuse which end up not being reported and our consulates or embassies in most cases are just useless!
It happened in China when this Lady was attack, not South Korea why ? bring Up South Korea on this when it happened in China ??? South Korea is not in China

South Korea???. Why did all of a sudden you bring up S. Korea, in this matter ?.
And where did you get that absurd idea which is totally groundless??.
S. Korea is an advanced Country, G10.
If anything as you've mentioned happens in Korea, it'll be reported immediately to both domestic and international News sources, and Law Enforcement will take action with no delay, and treat it as felonies, for justice.
