That is a well used Macabee Gopher Trap. How many gophers can you trap with one trap?looks like one for your lifetime?????
This trap can be used over and over, I have had mine for over 8 years and they are still catching gophers, i put another video that shows more detail and you can see it actually catch the gopher and it getting reset to use again.
What if your trap doesn’t have an end piece to put the bar through? All my traps are like that.

Well I guess I'm an idiot. I tried for the longest time to figure out how to set one at the store today. I came to the conclusion that either the traps or my brain were defective. Now we know which one. Back to the store & thanks for the information.
