    Talk about patience! My little Lhasa/Yorkie named Molly that unfortunately past away last year. She had the patience of a saint! She go lay by mole hills and stay right there till that mole would come up the mound and she pounce grabbing that mole right out of the dirt mound. Sometimes she catch em during the day and other times at night. We have a pet door so our dogs can go outside whenever they like. She catch a mole at night, then bring it in the house to the bedroom to show me her catch. She let the mole go loose in my bedroom and that mole be trying to dig thru our carpet. LOL luckily I could praise my dog and then tell her to take it back outside and kill it and she would. I’d find it dead on the front porch in the morning. Best dang dog I’ve ever had or seen. She never ceased amazing me how smart she was and she do anything I asked of her. People always ask me how I teach her to do things? I never taught her anything, she just do it! Had her for 13 years till cancer got her and I finally had to put her to sleep as much as I hated to! One dog I’ll always miss, but the moles won’t miss her I’m sure! LOL

    After setting traps all over my front yard with no luck, I came across your video. And went out into the yard and sure enough I saw some grass moving. I ran and got my shovel and pitchfork and tried to dig the little bugger out but somehow I missed him. No worries though, so now I know to keep the shovel close at hand. I put the grass and dirt back that I remove by shoveling, and let it sit for a few hours. I went back out there and sure enough the grass was moving at another spot. This time I used your method of having my foot poised right on the shovel, and I got the little son of a gun. Thanks a lot.

    The very best solution for moles is pellatized lime. Moles feed on grub worms which live in highly acidic soil. The lime reduces acid levels which drives away the grubs so the food source goes away and the moles follow. I’ve done this for several years and it’s the cheapest and easiest way and it actually works.

I had about 6 dead in one day/night just other day. I had one litter of kittens in the ferals and then I got them all fixed, but I kept them for this very reason. That and I love animals and they needed taking care of. The kittens are the best at getting them.

And with a heave shed throw the dead thing over the fence into the hay field. Ive never seen that done by anyone else. Youve come yhe closest tho.

    Watch for activity, and when the little lovely is in the area open his tunnel to the air. Make sure you can see the tunnel easy enough, the idea is to get fresh air going in his tunnel system. He'll think his system has been breached and he'll be pissed, patience, in time he'll investigate. You may see his nose pop up, usually all you'll see is dirt being pushed to close the breach. Dispose however you choose.

    How about star nosed moles? I've recently acquired some of them taking up residence in my yard. They don't make visible tunnels so it's harder to locate them. Perhaps flooding them out would be best. Those little buggers are swimmers.

    • @jaxdvr
      @jaxdvr ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Water seems to make them happy because it makes the worms move and they get free lunch, I'd just try poking around with a stick until you find a tunnel and use a Spade to make a small hole and drop some rat Miller in the hole and then very lightly cover the hole if you put a bucket over the hole it helps too if they see sunlight or a breach they will dig away from it. Just my 2 cents

    I live in Washington. I would see a fesh mound in the yard and I have tried waiting them out for ours and nothing happends. I would open up the mound until I find a tunnel. I pour gasoline down into the hole and wait a few minutes then pour more gasoline then light it. Other times I would try flooding them out with a hose and I've tryed attaching a hose to the tail pipe and smoke them out. I find the gasoline and tail pipe methods most affective so far.

Iwould hate for those murder hornets to move in there in the next year or so making us prisoners in our own home. they say murder hrnets prefer plages under ground so theres no telling where a merder hornet nest will be untill someone walks by on top of one then it's too late.
