Then go File > Make a copy
Then you should be able to edit your copy and adjust the packs number to see the average amount of the card rarities you should get based on how many you have
Saved up 345 hourglasses, I am annulling that as soon as Mythical Island comes out
I am doing only one 10 pack opening of the new set. Saving the rest for the next one
I will be dumping all 300+ hourglasses on it because I got 225/226 cards of the main set just before the miniset , so the resources are just fine to complete the main collection without the full arts, thats what I will focus on. When the next set comes out, I will keep trying to get the main collection excluding the star/crown cards.
The full arts are for the whales, I only spent on black Friday so I could open a 10-pack, that was very minor.

I have 122 at the minute. I managed to get enough hour glasses for 10 packs three days ago. I heard about this expansion and kept my hour glasses for the instant 10x pack opening of the new one :)

For me it will depend on how fun and interesting the new cards are outside the 15 we know already. If they have a moon stone I will spend all hour glasses until I get it.

I'm probably opening 10-20 packs to have a head start before I get the bulk via the 2 packs/day.
I am kinda tempted to use my pack hourglasses. I got 567 so far and like to open something. At the same time, the next main set is so far into the future that I can easily just use the free packs and keep saving :D
Only thing that might make it a little more difficult is the question id we get 1 or 2 different pack variants. I can see a Mew and a Celebi pack.

Do people play like me and not care about battling and just collect? My drawback to this game is there's nothing to do if you don't battle between opening your packs.
i love battling but i have a friend who just has it to scratch that pack opening itch without having to buy packs

i just battle when event mission is battling. other than that, just want couple cool pokemon cards to look at, and daily gamba ofcourse.
I collect, and battle but if you're not for battling you can make binders and showcases. If you make them public you get shop points for each like which you can exchange for the hour glasses to open more packs!

0 Hourglasses and not afraid to use it all
I have 0 hourglasses but I have 300 gold ready
2200+ cards, finished the 226 Pokémon and got 40 Star Rares. I have every deck besides Wigglytuff EX (just have a single copy of it). Sadly, I have saved only 12 hourglasses since I was using them every day for Genetic Apex.

are you joking with that vaporeon? Literally 120hp, and you can move the already saved energys to it, which means, for example, you have a starmie, it took damage, well switch out for vaporeon and its instant combat ready

Why wouldn't you just use them now and save more up later so you get deck building potential early and don't waste a resource long term?

Yeah not wasting my hour glasses on a obvious trap banner only thing that feels crazy that we’ve seen so far is Mew. Hopefully I get that but anything else I’m not too worried about and plus by the time the real packs come out I’ll be well over 500 hour glasses!!🔥🔥

I have almost 200. I think I'm just going to do a 10-pack open, then add it to my rotation of opening free packs and save to try and get enough to do a 10-pack for each of the January expansion. Not overthinking the math and I'm F2P, so trying to keep it casual. I like opening 10 together, so I hoard until I can do that. After this mini-set, I won't use hourglasses until I get to 480 (a 10-pack while keeping 3 10-packs ready for the next expansion).
I don't even have the not so secret mew yet cause a few pokemon refuse to reveal themselves in my packs. But I wanna try this pack and see if I start getting stuff. I mean I did recently get a god pack but eh 2 were just more charmander duplicates and it looks like so far the pack is dead anyway and won't show in my friends wonderpicks, so only getting 2 stars max made no difference. But hey a sabrina is nice

My question is can we use pack points saved up for the new packs, or are they pack exclusive?
pack points are bound to the set u got them on. so ur current pack points wont be useable on the new set unfortunately

Hmm I guess I will use them. I mean , all those numbers seems nice but we will get dupes for sure. If we couldn't get any dupes then we would be close to complete the set but that will never happen.
Dear Volkin, I have a basic question❓ What is the meaning of card 4 and 5.
when u look at the in game listed rates for packs, card 1,2 and 3 are always 1 diamond. Card 4 has a low chance to be a rare card and card 5 has a better chance to be a rare card. but the order of the cards can be jumbled in the pack

Anyone knows how the banner structure work? Do we chose between 4 packs (Charizard, Mewtwo, Pikachu, Mew)? Or do we first choose the expansion and then if Genetic Apex choose between 3 packs?

For me f2p, probably not gonna use hourglasses. Free packs only since i have Pikachu and Charizard/Arcanine deck. IF the rest of the cards are revealed and it turns out the powercreep is too much then i'll use hourglass to get the cards quicker. other than that still saving for main set 2

No, each pack has an independent probability of getting rare cards
I think it gives you about a 10x chance of getting something rare compared to opening just 1
Problem is, if you are still missing some crucial EX from Apex set, you cannot start opening new expansion packs exclusively. F2P player in such case must burn some hourglasses anyways.

As a long-time Dokkan BAttle player (8 yeard) there is an iron rule to saving stuff: Always save, never spend. Sure, the new set could be awesome and very powerful, but just imagine what the next set will be or the set after that OR the 1st anniversary set. There'll always be a better set down the road and you'll always need your "currency" for the set after the upcoming one. So yeah, everyone who dosen't have atleast 3000 hourglasses in december 2025 is playing the game wrong and should delete the app.
P.S. That was sarcasm. If you're a collector and don't care for the PvP, just spend your hourglasses on whatever set you want. PvP is going to be so P2W heavy that you won't be able to take part in it as soon as we're 5 or 6 sets in.
