Veteran Players: If you could start over, does this seem like a reasonable approach? New Players: Does this make you feel like you could get into cooking in Pokemon Sleep?
Agree on the candy boost point! Been a good learning week - next growth week I think I’ll run a couple of my stronger berry specialists in the evenings that I wouldn’t mind levelling up - my sleep research team was too junior to get drowsy power to the levels I was hoping (inhibiting overall sleep exp). Great beginners’ guide !
Hey! Learning means you’re doing it right because the game IS “sleep research” 😅 I am where I am today in the game as a result of many similar learning experiences 😅 hopefully with enough shared learning we’ll all do better!
It’s top 7 but for desserts I think I’m only top 3 from here on out 😅 The tea you make is always great though, thanks for brining it into the lab. Don’t tell Neroli, you make it better than him even.
It’s hard to say without an actual analysis, but I like to believe that the game is more balanced at every stage than we give it credit for. Please stop making me believe it’s not 🙉 😅
I do the multiple HBs strategy all the time, sometimes it is just frustrating. Just give me one more soybean pls and all the Mons are just like let's go on strike.
Thanks! I don’t have any island specific guides, but it’s pretty straightforward. I’d say only worry about matching berry specialists with the favorite berries on those other islands. The favorite berry does change. Taupe: Typhlosian (best) Marowak Onix (hard to get) Snowdrop: Walrein (best) Houndoom Raticate Weavile (hard to get) Lapis: Meganium (best) Primape Old Gold Power Plant: Raichu (best) Bannette Steelix (hard to get) For ingredient specialists, run them to get the ingredients you need to make the dish you want to make, don’t worry about matching berries. Personally I ran ingredient and skill specialists that had BFS and matching berries. That strategy carried me far in the game but I don’t use those pokemon much anymore. So I’d say dont “look for that” but a lower level pokemon with two berries that match the favorite might be stronger than a higher level pokemon finding one berry that doesn’t match. You can test that out by watching Snorlax and doing the math. Anyway, hope this is helpful!
Once I unlocked the ninja dishes it seemed like I didn’t want to cook any other dish. So until I find some good tomato/ apple/ cacao farmers my nindo is ninja treats only. Hope the baby is healthy and yall are getting some sleep!
Seems like great advice, except for one problem... I'm a completionist! So to me, maxing out all the dishes is part of the goal, lol. I'm also focusing on one or two item dishes while I build up ingredients for the end of week pot expansion so I can make the bigger dishes that won't otherwise fit in the thing. If you remake the video, mentioning that as a way to have 'safe' dishes while away from your infographs (how I play for lunches while at work) or while saving up rarer ingredients might be useful for early mid game people like me.
First of all, good luck in that completionist journey, especially as the max continues to increase. 🥲 If I understand correctly, the strategy is “go small today, so I can go big later?”
@@iBenBrownPlaysPokemonSleep Haha, thanks, I know it'll take forever but I approach most mobile games as a 'slow burn' anyway, so I don't mind. And yeah, that's the idea. It's also just safer for me when I'm at work, since I have no way to access the list of meals I have saved on my computer at home and my memory is **incredibly** bad. I'd rather have my apple fiend Fuecoco on my team giving me stuff for apple-only salads all week than try to remember what ingredients I'm trying to save up for the end of the week. Downside is I'm definitely losing out on power, upside is I'm not messing up my ingredients for 2/3 meals. Edit: I should add I'm only saving up for undiscovered meals. Once my meal list is filled out, I don't think I'll worry as much and start aiming for dishes that will also include my one/two ingredient dish stuff as well, and just make whatever is most powerful.
Ah, the “undiscovered” part helps me make more sense of this. I was thinking, “why not just click on the pot and check in how ingredients are progressing?” 😅

"Spore" Mushroom Salad is my fav dish to cook for salad... I forgot the rest 🤣

Really loving your videos! I always learn something new. Thanks!!
I am trying to level up some ice mons for the holiday event.
Glad you find them helpful! And hope your prep for the holiday event is goes well!
I understand and totally agree given your box, but a part of me is dying seeing neroli's restorative tea crossed off on your chart.

Admittedly I don’t have a full numerical analysis on this, but I have felt for a while that early game cooking (

I feel this in my soul 😭 it’s like the game is designed to be withholding 😅
I’m trying to level up my Quaquavel. He’s good, but I need those Level 60 leeks unlocked asap.
VelocityRaptor22 is about to start this club and I want a membership as well. Hoping I can at least get mine to 50 with the holiday event.
This is a great guide! Do you have or is there a guide for strategies (ingredient and berries) for each island eg Taupe Hallow or Snowdrop?

Candy boost is coming for xmas week
I should have waited to expand my pot 😅

Not as much sleep as I’d like, but we’re all doing well here! 🙏
When will they add tamales to Pokemon Sleep? 👀
@ haha tamale would be a great addition. Grenngrass corn, bean sausage?, fiery herb, milk wahlah
