- A North Carolina teenager needs a wheelchair to get around. And she needs her father's help to get into her home each day. At least she did until a good samaritan driving by happened to notice the struggle and offered to help in a big way!

I almost didn't click the video because I thought "well the title says it all, why bother watching?" well I am so glad I did. Seeing that little girl smile and someone doing something so selfless can't really be summed up in words. Just feelings.

As a disabled person, the man who built her the ramp talking about her having a bit of independence is absolutely right. We all feel like a burden on our families and care givers. Many times have I contemplated giving up so they wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of caring for me anymore.
Don't ever think that thought again. The stress and pain they'd go through losing you, especially like that and knowing it was because you thought that they were angry having to help you would absolutely crush them.
Never give up!, I'm disabled my self and Us just being around showing our love, our smiles, our company, and many other things we say and do means the world to the ones that we think we are a burden to. Keep that head up and Smile more.
Maybe they don't find things difficult, maybe they do - but we have difficulties in life, it's normal. So don't ever think that your family finding it difficult to help you is ever a reason to hurt yourself. They'd rather help you than you be unalived (silly word used because of censors). They'd be a lot more stressed if you weren't here.
I don't know you or your family but something tells me you giving up would only make things worse for those you care about...

I work in the human service as field. We struggle for months, sometimes years trying to get modifications to people's homes for individuals with disabilities. They are typically called "E-Mods". It is so nice to see that some generous folks are willing to do it on their own their own dime and time. It can be expensive but it is so hard to get for the people that need them

This is how it is supposed to be. If you can help someone, then do it, it will come back to you one day. Bless this man, not only did he help a family, but he also made new friends. But be aware that there are a lot of people out there that are working very hard to have us hating each other instead of helping each other.

That is such a blessing, I know exactly what that father is going through. My youngest brother is in a wheelchair and where he lives has steps, what a blessing it would be if the landlord would put a ramp in .

Man I love this story because we live in world now where you just stay out of peoples business even though you know they need help. This guy saw someone in need and stepped up in a big way and you can tell that it was genuinely appreciated by the smile on that young ladies face, kudos my man kudos.
