Love listening to the guys tell their stories! Put "Farm Fresh" or something alone those lines on the crate. The farmhouse look is big these days. Just a thought.
I watch a number of videos of scrapers , resellers, and pickers and it is great to see a flea market selling video. I know the frequent rain this Spring has prevented more such videos. For the crate may I suggest " Vandelay Industries" for the Seinfeld fans. Again, nice work PAM!

It's also super refreshing to see a female seller and to see the men at the market treating you with such respect. I know that people say sexism is dead, but in the re-selling market, it can still be prevalent. I'm a girl (not that you can tell from my pic) and I'm a t-shirt collector. The amount of times guys are shocked by my knowledge of vintage tees is disheartening. Girls collect and sell too! Good to see you representing at the market :)
I’ve only had a handful of instances where I’m “schooled” on something at the flea market. I think I’ve run into this moreso at estate sales and auctions. I normally just do my thing & try not to let it distract me. (Though at times that can be very hard to do!)
Don’t you love listening to the ‘old’ guys tell their tales? It makes me think of my stepdad who fought in WWII...Battle of the Bulge. He also fought in The Korean War. He had lots of tales to tell.
He was responsible for my husband enlisting and I think he had a lot to do with my youngest son being in the Marine Corp. My son was a Presidential guard, stateside, and then ended up going to the Persian Gulf.
You did a great job getting rid of so many big things on a dreary day flea market day ... that's always a plus! We also got a glimpse of Taco Stacks as he hurried away with a Giants Jacket! Have a wonderful rest of your week !!!
Sounds like a good idea for the crate. If I lived near I would have gotten it, as I stack them a little with cookbooks in them. One of my daughters takes crates and hangs the on the wall as shelves. I loved your wood blocks too.
Loved your video...as always! Ive never been to that flea market I must have missed your toaster, sounds like what they used to toast bread in a fireplace. I used to make Antique ones. Was the wood planes on your table? Glad you sold good, I knew you would do well with that stuff you trashed pick. Stencil on the box is a good idea, I just picked up a set of antique steel stamps used to make stencil, thought about keeping them to make up some stencils but I probably will never get around to it so will probably sell them. I’m at my every week auction, got a few things. Was thinking about you since they have a table of Paper, old 1940s hunting & fishing magazines etc. , also some older “naughty” art model magazines Wish me luck!
Hi there, not sure what the Create is made out of. But you might want to check out the U-Tubers Jami Ray Vintage. They paint everything and I think its called (Crackle) where the paint cracks and it makes the item seem old (vintage). Sorry if my spelling is off. Best of Luck to you.
Here's an idea for the crate. ( Paper & Moose Co. We buy old paper, ephemera and vintage items. ) Then if you wanted to, you could put your cell phone number on there.

Oh no! The Mickey mouse glass I had gotten several years ago for my son in law got broken by his mom! It wasn't really old. Probably from the 70s. It made it safely to Taiwan without breaking and he used it all the time. His mom dropped it last week! Shattered! If you come across one in your adventures, please let me know and I will buy it! Thanks! (When I saw the Star wars glasses, I thought I'd ask.)

@@PaperandMoose Yes that'd be quite a road trip just for some flea markets. In our area, they've gone downhill. We are in the area around Wichita, which is the south central part of the state and we have maybe 2 to 4 flea market type events a year. You really have to be willing to drive 3 hours to our capital Topeka or 4 hours to Kansas City to get opportunities with more frequent flea markets/trade shows/craft fairs which combine crafts with pyramid group sales and thrifting....really a mishmash event. We really have to rely on the 2 community resale shops, a handful of church thrift stores, 5 goodwill stores and garage sales. I might mention that the small towns around Wichita have weekends that designated for city wide garage sales, they are awesome!
Would you mind if I ask you how much of a fee does your flea market charge? Ours charges an arm and a leg 😒. I’ve wanted to get a space or a small booth in our antique mall but, 💵😡💰
Antique mall's charge $300. and up in Tulsa Okla. But we have an indoor market on Sat. and once in a while Sun. too. that even rents tables, I think I played $45.00. Always got my money back, and had fun too !!!

Keeps someone from grabbing your handbag. Or setting it down and leaving it. I only wear a fanny pack for years now. My City had a rash of purse's being grabbed so I just feel more safe.

Please don’t shop at Hobby Lobby. Whether for political reasons or because of the schlock they sell. My favorite places to shop for craft supplies are garage or estate sales.
Spray paint was on sale. Cheaper than Walmart. I pretty much only buy paint and scrapbook paper from there. When their scrapbook paper is on sale, the prices are too good to pass up.

Kansas would be a far drive - the markets are in Pennsylvania & New Jersey. How are the flea markets in Kansas? Is there a variety of items for sale?
