It was absolutely a good buy!! You could probably get $10 a piece for many of those Pioneer Woman pieces. And yes, Pioneer Woman is Ree Drummond from the Food Network. Her husband is one of or the largest land owners in Oklahoma. She also owns a Mercantile store, hotel and restaurant in Oklahoma. You and Taco Stacks work so very hard. I admire both of you. Stay hydrated and get your rest. Take good care.
Tina
The bamboo drawer organizers are actually surprisingly expensive. I stack them and display things in them.
Great use for them!
Good one! I like the Pioneer Woman stuff! Can’t believe you only paid 10 bucks!
Apparently, there is a P W rolling pin that sells for $$$
You are fun to watch…you smile all the time…
You can't go wrong with a $10 unit, you can usually find some small items that sell but in this case you found more, well done Renee 😊
Hi Renee - yet again, the look of happiness on your face when you are going through stuff in these storage units. Such fun to watch as you NEVER know what you will find. You and Taco work well together, it's great to watch you both clearing these units. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. Take care 🙂
The great thing about $10 lockers is you don't have to worry about making your money back. Great for people that do flea markets and even yard sales.
This is a great point. Yes, we put in our time and also had some landfill fees, but overall, we aren't spending hundreds & hoping to just break even. I would love to buy a packed unit filled with totes, but one has to remember if you are spending hundreds or even thousands, you have to recoup that first before making any money.
I wish you would show the items up close.
What state r u buying units in
@@PaperandMoosevery true
@@PaperandMooser u selling anything on whatnot
Renee, I've noticed a band aid on your arm for quite some time now. Hope you're ok. Love watching you. So glad i found your channel.
That heavy piece of furniture is a late 1930s "Gentleman's Chest". My grandmother had a dining set by the same manufacturer. When she passed, my folks sold the table and six chairs (back in 1956)...but kept the buffet. It held a place of honor in our entrance foyer. When Mr. Offspring inherited the home...I advertised the buffet...yes...in the want ad section...and netted $185 for it...back in 2002. As I don't care for deco...a fine 1928 Jacobean Sideboard now holds the honored spot! Your heavy furniture is just that...of REAL SOLID woods and veneers. I know furniture is hard to sell, store and move...just thought I'd let you guys know the backround of that piece. A vanity...looks like you may have a nearly complete bedroom suite! Disected fr-gs could be in that "mystery chest"! Those drawer organizers may fit into the chest? I see the vanity bench. Wow...I finally spied a fr-g...looking like a deflated plush piece! Can you guess what would be in my storage unit????
Thank goodness there wasn’t a frog in that jar! Though a frog, thankfully an alive one, appeared at the auction I was at & gave me a little scare! I think I got it on camera. Heavy furniture indeed, but made well. I love the art deco pieces, but no room & I’m not even sure they would fit up my stairs, though I’ve seen similar sets at estate sales & one wonders how they got into some rooms! Hope that you had a good weekend! Maybe some thrift shops or nice meetups with friends!
@@PaperandMoose Had a nice quiet weekend...no sales...these are rare events around here...plan to visit a couple of thrift stores this week. That mouse looks like a potential dissection project of a biology student???? I remember dissecting frogs as part of my biology adventures, deceased ones, of course...couldn't do that today!
So fun to have a buddy to go in on units together. Pretty darn good for $10!!! Stay cool and safe!
Fabulous finds in there. Pioneer Woman items everyone loves. Some of her older pieces especially.
You spread joy, thank you. I am ready to read your storage unit cozy mysteries when you use all this inspiration
I think you both did very well. You found some quality stuff along with the junk. You can’t go wrong with a $10 unit. Happy treasure hunting and at the flea markets.
I use yoga mats and cut them to line my cupboards or shelving in my booth, they are so easy to cut.
You two did very good again! What a team.
$10 and no stairs to lug stuff down - can’t beat that.
The Pioneer Woman products look like Bridal Shower gifts.
Maybe the owner of that storage unit bought palate lots. Lots of that stuff was brand new in the box! You and taco definitely got your $10 back on that storage unit😊
Ya work well together i really enjoy y'all videos when ya work together. Hope y'all do well on the unit.😊
Thank you for another great storage unit! You are so pleasant & kind. Fun to watch.
You and Taco are going to make bank on this unit!
This was a good unit for 10 bucks. You can’t beat it. You’ll get some great stuff out of it. Enjoy thanks for sharing.🥰
I'm with you and Taco Stacks ...mouse in a jar ? .."that's awful " ....yep ..." that's really odd" .
With the lid screwed on, there’s no way it accidentally got trapped in there. Poor guy!
Yeah....I hope no one put him in there and purposefully left him there to dehydrate...how cruel & inhumane...
The leaves were there for ambiance 😉
Very exciting video. Love this. What a lot of work in the heat.
I love watching you in a storage unit, like a kid in a candy shop, really excited, hopefully get some more units at thate price, looking forward until the next unit buy, take care
💚Renee, I love your humour! I like your top also. $10 well spent.
That Pioneer Women measuring cups are the best. Strange unit. LOL
I'm glad you finally found money in books like some other lucky storage auction buyers
I enjoy the mystery of storage unboxing!! Great video 🥰
I think all the new in box Pioneer Woman will be worth putting on line.
I wish you and taco stacks where closer to southern New Jersey I would let you guys go through my old stuff
The body of Sir Mouse had obviously been moved postmortem as it was evident that he had been laying on a flat surface. Perhaps the perpetrator who took Sir Mouse's life wanted to relive the experience and put him in the airtight jar to slow down the decomposition of the body.😁
you did good on locker
So fun!! A little creepy, but so interesting. Thanks for sharing this cool adventure with you and Taco!
At least you didn't find a stuffed rattlesnake in this locker
The books on criminology and the tarot stuff should sell, especially with a book.
Unit may be weird but at least its not all dirty laundry. Looks like you have a good amount of sellables.
Agreed!
Unit full of surprises, well done guys 👍🏻👍🏻👏👏🤠🇬🇧
It amazes me the things you find.
Pretty wild variety in that unit. Great video. 😊
Fun storage unit day 😊
Pioneer Woman Jadeite Cupcake Stand with cloche goes for 150 plus…I bought one at an antique store thinking vintage but found out it was pioneer woman but worth more than I paid for it so not too bad
Oh wow!! I haven’t seen the jadeite stand. Good to know!
Good unit you guyz. My favorite 2 youtubers. You guys picked a good unit. Nice finds. Nice clean up job love ya
Great video Renee and I'm going to say since you found the money dinner is on you tonight for you and Taco steaks. Love you and enjoy your dinner!!
You can get very good stuff out of dresser drawers they're better than safe Is maybe find the jewelry box
You make me laugh, thank you so much , love your videos ♥️
Glad you like them!
The rolling pin is worth the big money, I think.
It is as the song goes "you put the lime in the coconut..."
Ya it’s r Drummond, I love her stuff
Looked like a great locker!
It's nice to see u both working together
At the end the large silver steel adjustable shelf storage rack by the door could probably easily fetch $20-$30 dollars plus the dog crate for ay least $20. I'm guessing the brand new Wii in the box might be $100. Easily make you money back. But for $10 you paid for the " FUN " of going on the Treasure Hunt. In this case you didn't do the " Mouse Hunt "... someone already FOUND that for you ;-)
I think I would have ran as soon as I saw that mouse in the mason jar . That is so creepy .. science experiment ?? But you did find some good stuff !!
Love Pioneer Woman dishes...you can mix and match all the patterns!
Definitely a weird mixture!! Keeps it interesting fir your video for sure❤❤❤❤
You found alot of great stuff for 10 dollars 😊❤
I can just see Taco’s kitchen fashioned in Pioneer Woman stuff. 😂 Love your channel!
😂😂😂
Be careful with the Pioneer Woman crockpot, I believe I read earlier this year where there were problems with certain models.
Thanks for the info, I’ll have to take a look at what model it is!
Awesome!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
Hey don't let one negative comment stop you from being you I love your personality and humour Maybe that person should just stop watching you and turn to a channel that is boring enough she'll feel right at home
I have pioneer woman dishes I like the bright colours Great video I'm going to tune to Tacos channel now
Stay Happy 💖💕❤️💜💚💙🇨🇦🦩
Another good unit which will return your money multiple times. I've read that farmers (used to?) leave the carcasses of varmints they'd shot in prominent places to keep others away - but I really don't think that's what the mouse was about. I'd never heard of Pioneer Woman - is that one of those brands like Pampered Chef or Tupperware which people would get involved in and sell it out of their homes? Congratulations on another winner - you guys seem to know how to pick the right units. Have a great Saturday & weekend & try to stay cool! (My daughter stopped through here today on her way from Atlanta to Baltimore and gave me my prize for my upcoming birthday - a keychain that says, "Live slow, die old and leave a really good estate sale." She knows her Dad - though I'm not sure she's considering the work it might cause her!
Pioneer women sold at walmart. Cookware dishes etc
Love that. Happy early birthday!
Now that's a keychain I haven't seen! You should check out the song "Estate Sale" by Cheryl Wheeler. She captures why estate sales are so fun in a catchy tune. Pioneer Woman is a show on Food Network. I actually just looked her up & she had quite the following from her blog long before the Food Network picked her up. Like other network stars, she also has her own line of cookware. It's funny how her stuff showed up at the Tote Man's the other week & now in our storage unit! If none of the pieces are the big sellers online, then to the flea market they go. I assume they will be quick sellers there!
@@cindyjones2741 thanks!
@@justmejenny7986 Thank you!
What a mix of stored items. Pioneer Woman sells quickly , the quality is a plus plus, and holiday items too.
It was definitely a mixture! Old, new, never used, quite the assortment.
I think you're going to really come out good on resells. Just wish you had shown more box openings.
Well worth $10! Ice cream trays, what I think I heard, not ice cube trays, made me chuckle 😄. Did you crack the mouse jar open to check for freshness? Perhaps it was canned for later use? Lot of things to sell, Lots of hot work, but after dumping fees, should be a nice ROI 👍👍
You should always check the books for money especially since this unit could be more you never know. Good luck Renee and Taco love your channel.
Great unit!🎉🇨🇦
For $10 you each got a YT video worth of content.
Plus it appears you got more then enough items that you'll be able to sell to make up for the work involved in cleaning out the unit
The cookware items will pay for the unit & more! Lots of sellable things, just need to be dusted off a bit and they are good to go to the flea market!
Seriously, both of you using my trigger words in the first minute? Thought we were friends 😂
Haha, too bad they weren’t older pieces! Maybe in the next one!
Saw TS video. Glad you found goodies, too. I use an old trunk as a piece of furniture. Tina, Al's wife
Wow a storage locker for the price of two cups of coffee! Nice finds
This was a great storage unit. Thanks for sharing!
You make a great team I enjoy your videos
Thanks!
you should check out the Tarot decks, some are worth money. Always fun watching you guys go through storage units
Ten Dollars!?!😯
With all the new Pioneer Women stuff that’s new you guys did great on that one. The furniture is a bummer if none of it was any good you had to get rid of quite a bit of stuff. It has definitely been hot enough lately, so not fun moving all that. 🤷🏼♀️
Some furniture had damage & mold. It's hard to donate those types of pieces because some of the thrift shops (like Habitat Restore) have certain rules on what they will accept.
I love you two , you’re just so cute and funny
Check for mouse stew in the crockpot recipes.
If there is a recipe for that in there, eek!
It´s always obvious when I see the happiness in your face that you´ve started a joint venture with Timothy again...😊 And starting with a lucky penny AND a dead mouse in a jar is always a very good sign 😂. Perhaps the previous owner of this locker content was some kind of wizard or even a professional witch, who knows...😵💫. And you made some really great finds, I like especially the Pioneer Woman stuff, the wooden organizers, the criminality books, the new Wii etc. Kobalt is a mineral and a color as well (kobaltblau). Quote Renée: "This is a weird unit, that doesn´t make sense". Anyways, besides the profit you had lots of fun and happiness during this "storage war", and that´s what finally counts. 👍Keep it up, and see you on the next locker. 🤑Greets from GER, U.
FYI: Kobalt is the name-brand of tools sold through Lowes.
@@bobhamulak3646 Thanks for the additional info !
What was luckier - the penny or the mouse? I was hoping that the trunk would have held something a bit more exciting, of course thinking of old letters & paper! I think that If the trunk would have been in the front of the unit, that would have prompted other bidders. If a facility photographs a trunk or a safe, that's usually a guaranteed bidding war. The mystery of what *could* be in a safe is a strong one amongst storage unit bidders! I'm just hoping that someone buys the 1776 Bicentennial lamp - it needs a good home!
@@PaperandMoose I'd say the penny was luckier, but the mouse-in-a-jar is more interesting and memorable. You're likely gonna' forget about finding a penny, but you're gonna' remember that mouse for a long time! You remembered that $6 bat, didn't you? I think you enjoy buying those storage units because you like to be surprised by what you unknowingly bought. You are gambling, albeit only $10 in this case, and you like it when you win something special. Between your optimistic and positive personality, and giving your viewers a first-hand look at what you do, it's easy to see why your channel will grow! Your viewers feel like they are vested in seeing your success and happiness. That is why you get such encouraging and heartfelt comments! Your viewers really love you! Keep it up! 😂
@@PaperandMoose If you are are looking for decent paper items, just open my recent package which is full of dusty stuff like that. 🙂 Hm, the Bicentennial lamp, if you don´t get a reasonable price, make me an offer 😁.
Definitely an adventure full of surprises❣️ 😃
🤸ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT🎯🏁🙆♀️ when you Team Up with Taco Stacks....
From V.J. ✌️🕊🙋♀️ (Retired Onsite Equine🐎 Ride & Handle Coach)
This was a great unit!
Lmbo Renee is gonna lose sleep thinking about this unit😮🤔
Dang you have made a wonderful buy.
Great video but yes weird...you're a hoot , Renee...🥰🥰
Thank you Renae and Taco❤
Wow swords, penny, dead mouse, but lots of different items
Mouse in jar= curious kid.
Since it ate half the fiver, perhaps it’s more of a bank?
You... Taco do you need a crockpot? Taco.. No... Come on we all know he only eats subway and donuts lol great collab again .... Dan
Great unit and you made it fun!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Weird is good. Well fun atleast.
Very good score😊
Wierd unit. Fun to watch. Now to see Taco Stacks half!
Great haul for 10😊
Maybe Grandma caught the mouse hoping it would poop out the rest of her five (?) dollar bill. 🤣😂. 🤗💖🦋
Even better if there was $2.50 in change at the bottom of the jar.
People do collect specimens.
Well I stopped watching the video. I have been a subscriber for several years. Lately I have noticed a lot of negativity from you that wasn't there when I started watching. Comments about hoarding, the overreaction of today's finds. You're alienating viewers.
Alot of the banter is just her lighting things up. They're being honest & showing us what's in the locker. Are you having a bad day?😮u@@justmejenny7986
In regard to hoarding, I've dealt with that topic & the seriousness of it in some of my other cleanout videos. Of course, we always ask the question of why and there are times when I know the story of the family, but I can't put it all out there. As for overreacting, I don't know... how often does one come across a mouse trapped in a jar? First time for me! Sure, could have been a specimen like other viewers suggested, but when it's one of the first things we find in a unit, I think my reaction was warranted.
You just gave me good material for a good mystery story.
I have a BA degree in Criminology..... and a family passed down antique Tarot deck..... but I'm missing the mouse in a jar. ps... I have been called weird before lol.
The mouse in the jar was one of the first things we found in the unit, so I had to wonder about it. I didn’t really consider it was a “specimen”… perhaps I would have if it would have been a different animal, not a mouse. The antique tarot deck sounds interesting! I have found a few decks this year, but mostly from the 1980s/90s.
You done good
