You did very well with the Photo's, they are the memories of our past they should never be thrown away... Some other great finds too .. love your channel 😍
Awesome day, along with rude people but wonderful finds..thanks to Mike for making your day with a box of photos...thanks so much for letting me tag along...🥰🥰
Two things I loved there Renee; the cool ‘Nightmare before Christmas’ plates, in their own box, and - what was that image of the soldier? A print of a painting, with a green background? Whatever it was, it was striking. Shout out to ‘ Mike’ again - cometh the hour, cometh the plonked - directly- in - front - of - you - tote - full - of - vintage - photographic - ephemera.….man. Another delicious browse and research lies ahead…👍
Hi Renee. WOW! The Flea Market was fun. It is good to find nice people who can give you paper to look through. I wonder why you didn't take the picture's of the two ladies or lady from the box. But I am glad you had fun. Yahoo to the Tote Man. God Bless you Renee. Take care. HUGS 🤗🤗. Mari'a. 👍👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👋👋👋👋👋🌼🌸🌺
I was like no, don't reach into other people's totes. That's not the done thing, and then you said it immediately after I was thinking it lol! What a gent Mike is though. It's like he made up for the rude lady. It's all swings and roundabouts :)
Wow, grabbing stuff right out in front of you. Always loved going to the flea market, now everything has changed, don't enjoy it anymore. Looks like you had a great day ❤
What, there´s a tiny chance of rain ?! No problem, the mighty Tote Man will blow the clouds away. 😄 And he never disappoints, even the guard dog looked very genuine. 3:42 The "Old World Handcrafted Nutcracker" in it´s original package looked pretty neat, if it´s pre- China and made in GDR, it´s worth a pretty penny. Some nice finds though, a little bit of everything. Thanks to Mike for packing this box along to you, highly appreciated. 👍Have a great Tuesday, a little bit fresh and windy over here (around 45 F), but it will change next week. Greets from GER, U.
The nutcracker was newer, but would be great for someone that collects or to even give as a gift! So many new in box items, so I was pleasantly surprised when Mike passed along the shoebox of photos. One never knows what will be in the totes, but one hopes to grab the right tote! We are gearing up for summer temperatures next week, but this week enjoying some cooler days. I was working on the Berlin letters this afternoon & went down another rabbit hole… Berlin was big, but what a small world Pummel lived in with all of her friends. My list of translation questions for you isn’t too bad, only a handful more to review!
@@PaperandMoose Just go ahead and don´t hesitate to ask if you got some translation questions, no problem at all ! 😉It´s nearly midnight over here and I just finished a blog, so it´s time to quit.
Very nice stuff. The box of photos will be fun to go through. Hopefully a video montage results! Mike is very gallant and chivalric to slide those your way. I've never heard of those filtering straws. Back in the dark ages when I did some faraway traveling, we had to use iodine tablets. Which kept us safe from bacteria but tasted worse than the water itself, I imagine. Thanks for the video and have a great Tuesday afternoon!
Mike’s a good guy! There are a handful of regular buyers that if they find something they know someone else collects/likes, they pass it along to them if they find it in a bin. It’s nice to have that at the market! Tomorrow will be a little montage of some of the photos. I tried to stick with those around the same time period, but there’s a few “newer” ones. So many different contraptions out there for “survival” means, it’s hard to keep up with! I watch a few videos of people in the wilderness & just the different types of sleeping bags is enough to fatigue the mind!
I think nowadays it seems just the small chance of rain is enough to keep sellers home. They used to be tougher maybe because they used to make more money We went to our Friday market and now that the girls are out of school we took them. Bought them a bunch of stuff off a 3 for a $1 table including bag with about 20 little boxes of fake tattoos and some .50 cent rings We normally set on a table while their Mom looks around. Next thing I know Olive ,who is 7,has the stuff laid out and has made a sign selling it! Two boxes of tattoos for a $1 I gave some friends of mine a few $1 bills on the lowdown that they could buy some Soon as she got the money she went down and invested in some more rings I was so proud of her!
Those photo booth fotos...have some of my mom and dad taken when they went to the 1939-40 Pan Pacific Exposition (Treasure Island, San Francisco). I had a pretty neat small haul from my trips to Sal. Army/Goodwill yesterday (Sunday). A nice carved cherry wood fr-g! A vintage Ezra Brooks Liquor Decanter in the shape of an 1870 horse-drawn hearse, from the Bucket of Blood Saloon...Virginia City, Nevada...ca 1970; a beautiful Lennox Santa Sled, 8"X 6"X 5"; two fine bronze medallions...Sierra Railroad Co. 2/12" diameter and a Crocker Citizens National Bank Centennial 1870-1970...3"diameter...both heavy bronze! All for $38! You got a neat present of those old photos...and can keep your youthful look with those practical complexion products!
How nice of Mike to pass the box of pictures to you. I have many pictures just like them. Yes the hair styles were pretty interesting. I need to tell my daughter in the event of my passing to send them all to you. Only special people like ephemera. ❤
I like the cheese box. I think Betty Rose was a singer. I remember those red cookie cutters. My childhood. I grew up using MelMac dinner ware. The Nightmare plates are awesome.
5.30am 😴😴 does that really exist? The Tote Man and suddenly it is like bees round a honey pot 😊 Very thoughtful of Mike to slip those photos in your direction, I am sure we will see a slide video again soon. Well done Renee and thanks for sharing 😊
Awwh that's very nice of Mike! btw are you planning on heading out of state for flea markets outside your Renee-dius this summer? Please check out why @CastIronKev regrets going to English Town Flea Market! hehehe
Oh I’ve heard stories about that flea market! Leesport, my other favorite market, is about an hour away, so that’s a good distance out of the Renee-dius 🙂
That picture with the bridge is done by a famous French artist. Even though it’s probably a print it is still worth money. It was the one in the bin with the nightmare for Christmas. Oh well
I cleared a deceased estate recently, no descendants , her entire life's history to end, I saved all the ancestral pictures ,loose and in albums and offer them free to ephemera collectors, at least the ladies memories will live on and be appreciated by new generations instead of incinerated and lost to time.
I sell on Etsy, but do not have anything listed as of now. I’ve been moving larger items out at the flea market, so listing has been put off for a little bit.
Betty Rose was a singer.....She dumped me 40 years ago when she caught me selling fake autograph pictures of her...I see you found a couple of them.. sigh....😥😥
Thanks Mike! Another fun Flea adventure.
👻I like the Nightmare Before Christmas plates and the black and white photos.
How nice of Mike. Glad you got some personal and practical items too.
That was very cool of Mike, Very nice of him. The tote man rules lol
That's so sweet of Mike .love you and your channel
Pioneer woman can be a good seller people like to add to their collection which is often discontinued 😊
Yah for the Tote Man. And you always choose such interesting things. Your Hersey’s pencils are so cool!

Nice when other people (Mike) know what you like , find some and place them before you. Great day, despite chance of showers 👍👍

Rude people grabbing right out of the box you're looking in! And then there's WONDERFUL MIKE!!!
A big thanks to Mike for the shoebox of photos! If I find a box of vinyl, I’ll pass that along to him since he likes records!
Looking forward to a new slide show with your box of photos. Love your slide shows. Thanks.
Fun tote man day😊

Renee you should have grabbed that Dr. Seuss book, it's one of the "banned" books.
Great finds at the flea market 👍 very nice of Mike to give you those photos 😊 thank you Renee for taking us along with you 🥰

I'm loving The Nightmare Before Christmas 🎄 Plate Set ! Awesome 👌
I thought that was rude her reaching in there, and I’m not even aware of “flea tote etiquette”!
I agree!!
I love Vanilla Fields cologne. I would grab that and the Pioneer Woman rug.
Love your channel. So you know, vintage perfume and unused makeup big money on eBay. Ground delivery

I love see the Dorothy ornament..the Wizard of Oz is my favorite 💜

Before you even said anything Renee I was saying who is this RUDE person grabbing things from the tote you were going thought - GEEEZ!!
I hold my breath because those folks around you appear to be about to pounce on you! You are little!
Where online do you sell? Could you please provide a link. Your Etsy shop shows no items.
I sell on Etsy, but do not have anything listed as of now. I’ve been moving larger items out at the flea market, so listing has been put off for a little bit.

But if she could have only known then that her photo would grace the TH-cam screen all these years later! 😆
It’s so rude when you are looking through a tub and someone else is being grabby. Wait until the person is done.
