    The first time I watched your video, it made me became one of your viewer, I love nature, I love all of the videos I watched , and how I wished that one day I can experience staying over night in a cabin, I love your dog Gracie as well as you. Thank you for sharing all your memories in the wilderness , 💗 I am from the Philippines.

    Why did The Tortoise cross the road? Because he knew Cory and Gracie were coming and he wanted to be on TH-cam! 😄🐢 Was so thrilled to see a new video from The Maine Woods. That lake and cabin are treasures. Keep 'Em Coming Cory! 💪🌲🌲🦌🐕📹🚶‍♂️

    Lovely lupines! And abundant critters big n' small. I like the way U respect the animals. Poor Gracie and Cory...the black flies were quite bad. You have one project there = restoring of cabin...I hope you get the job and they understand the work needed to restore. People often do not connect price/labor/work needed. Thanks 4 sharing and keep strong! Health and God Bless! :)

      All things considered it’s in great shape for how old it is, a solid roof and being kept off the ground have made it last this long, I’d love to disassemble it and rebuild it not so close to the water

    Cabin appears level inside. Looks like it was built right on the ground though. Logs all look good except for some chinking. A little close to the water for me, but another doable project for you. You have the talent and character to accomplish it. Beautiful trout pond. Lots of snappers at my place laying eggs in the sandy soil. Some are downright huge. I see eyes at night where the snappers buried their eggs. Coons and Fox digging them up for dinner. All the best and hope to see the finished project. PeaceY

    • @TheMaineWoods
      @TheMaineWoods  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Your assessment is accurate, way too close to the water, don’t know why it was built that way, it’s sitting on log runners so the cabin itself is not rotten

    Hey Cory , I like that you bring life back to old cabins . I don't often comment , but seen something quite dangerous on this vid. i thought i'd mention it , as few people would even think of it . I experimented with being overturned out of a boat or canoe with running shoes on , and those boots you have on , and if i could swim . The results are very poor , but at least you can slip shoes off if not tied too tightly --- those boots you have on , its pretty much game over , try an experiment in 6 feet of water , its like rocks on your feet , your buoyancy goes to zero & your very unlikely to get them off , and you'll go down quick . Anyone getting in my boat or canoe takes those boots off or they stay on shore , unless life jackets are available . Just addressing a concern few think of , not trying to be a bonehead . Can't beat an old fixed up cabin , on the water , with good fishing :)
