I have been wondering whether my journal is still helping me or is just sormthing I'm doing because it's a habit. I think it might be time for a layout shake-up ☺️
Happy to hear that! I totally get that. I have my trackers and calendars, that are helpful and a pretty much a routine thing for me, but I felt that besides that I didn't do the daily journaling and writing everything down that comes to my mind anymore, which is the most helpful part to me. Hopefully you can find new ways, to make your journaling feel help- and purposeful again 🤗
I am just experimenting in mine right now and got stuck” because I pre planned my June weeks and first July page, and I want and need more pages before July to have other pages. My problem is that I need to get future things down, yet have space to write whatever I need: grocery list, to-do’s etc. I end up using multiple notebooks for things. I the that as I feel i should be in one book, but if the multiple books are working, to just keep it up! See, confuses mind based on what others’ expectations are…!
Oh yeah, I did that before as well and it didn't work out too well for me. Before I started bulletjournaling I would use several notebooks for different things but always end up kinda paralized by the question, where to write something down. Maybe an idea for you could be a bigger future log, if you need a specific space for the upcoming months. But on the other hand: If multiple notebooks work for you, why change it? And as you said, you shouldn't base your planning and journaling on how others might expect or do it.
