This is absolutely the BEST video I have ever seen on Midori. I am a Filofax girl and was on the fence about trying the Midori. Well your video didn't just push me over the fence, it catapulted me! I can't wait to try out the Midori and all of the beautiful inserts you've suggested. This was an amazing video, KEEP them coming, please!

    1. I totally didn't need the Midori...but now I feel like I need it.
    2. Your nails look awesome.

I'm falling more for these with every video. THIS was a fantastic one. I was definitely confused on how they stored in the leather jacket. This video completely cleared that up as well as sizing and how to carry accessories. So glad I found you in the internets! Now planning how to get mine. Thanks so much!

Thank you! Great stuff! Finally all answers in one place. I think I can combine several of my notebooks and my planner into one. That way I wouldn't be always misplacing my smaller specific notebooks, and stressing about getting a new planner ever year! Thanks. I am an artist type also so I won't be doodleing and drawing in my medical record notebook anymore! Brilliant!

You made this over two 1/2 years ago and this is the best video I have seen explaining this system. I just watched a very simple one done by Japanese Pen (shop), and they did explain and show how to band books, their estetic wasn't creative. I loved this video. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything.

  • @scrapgirl14671

I wanted to say thank you. I actually had broken down and ordered a Midori from Jetpens about two days ago and just saw your video today. I probably would have gone larger, but I will make the one I ordered work because it is what I can afford. I think it is so kind of folks like you to do videos like this because as you are aware, there are tons of questions that people have, and you really walked us through it all and answered them. I appreciate it very much and have subscribed so I won't miss any new videos, and of course will be going back through your archives and watching others.
    Have a beautiful day!

I'm so glad you found my Midori 101 video, Carmen! This video was first recorded for TH-cam four years ago, so my Midori did find a new home, but I hope you love journaling in whatever kind of notebook/journal works best for you! Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful day!

Thank you for such a thorough and informative video! I am a lifelong notebook junkie and also a lover and user of Filofax planners. I like the flexibility of a binder but I ate that the rings get in the way! I've been intrigued by various "'doris" for some time now, but wasn't sure I could incorporate my favorite accessories, etc from binders. You've just shown me that one can actually create a hybrid. Thank you!!!

Your video was such a BIG help! I was so confused until I watched this video! I only wish these vibrant color planners were available on Chic Sparrow & Foxy Fix! I found you on IG and I am checking out your website. I plan to buy a planner in the next few days. I am so excited to get started! Thanks again!

Hi Cori! I am fairly new the the planner world at this elevated level. Like you I have always been a "planner girl" from the tiny planners that the card stores gave away for free when I was very young to my most recent Kikki K. Now, after discovering you through the lister's challenge and watching some of your videos I feel like I must try the Midori system...it seems like a good fit for me. (Love the teal). Love your videos, they are so informative and I think it's great you show your process from start to finish without editing out the inevitable "oopsies" we all encounter from time to time. I have happily subscribed to your channel so keep those videos coming.

Hi Cori! This video is phenomenal. I have been thinking about the various midoris and this video answered every question I had and even some I didn't think of. I'm a paper crafter/mixed media gal and these would work perfectly for my various creative planning/designing/sketching and crafty business needs. I'm like you, the extra wide is the perfect size for me. I create my mini albums and journals chunky so this extra space is perfect. Thanks for doing such thorough review and walk through and for showing us the various accessories 😃

Loved all the info! Thanks for taking the time to explain it all. It's so overwhelming right now because I'm so so new to everything midori but I'm interested in making it like my daily art journal/diary. I'm obsessed right now with midori style and think I would really enjoy it for my traveling art notebook.

If I had seen this fantastic video earlier, I wouldn´t have bought a Filofax! What a pitty! Thank you so much for this!

This covered every question I had. I wish I would have known about this before I purchased a regular size last night. That's okay. It just means I will get to get another in a larger size!
