Excellent choice, guys! The 89 Seatle concert is arguably the best thrash metal concert of all time. The set list and the performance are at their peak. You won't regret doing the whole thing. Keep it up!🤘🏽

Lars was a standard setter for his day especially, Metallica is my generation’s Led Zeppelin, I am very proud of these guys🍻

Loved them since I was 15 in 1986….1989 i saw them in concert the 1st time…..I still worship them at 51….well the songs before the Black album 🥺💀⚰️

One thing you can always rely on is Metallica turning up on live shows. I always rated 80's Lars as a drummer.

Great song! Metallica fans would just call this Sanitarium and leave Welcome Home off. Lol

Metallica will forever be the best band in history for me. Thrice is my current favorite modern band but Metallica will never be dethroned. I owe that band so much for who I am today.

You're watching the biggest metal band of all time at their absolute zenith. Doubt there will be another heavy band that hits the same points these guys have done. Only when they're gone will we really appreciate the contribution to heavy music and rock as a whole

Metallica is the biggest of the Big 4 for many reasons. One being that they've been together for 41 years this October, are still touring, and still putting out albums. Two of the original members are still there. Kirk Hammett has been with band for 39 of those 41 years, and Robert Trujillo (bassist) being the newest has been with Metallica for 19 years. Metallica is the first band ever to play on all 7 Continents. Metallica has won nine Grammy Awards. Megadeth has one.. Slayer and Anthrax have none. Elton John covered Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" while saying it was one of the best songs ever written and that Metallica was one of the greatest bands of all time. That kind of acknowledgement from someone like Elton John is one of the biggest compliments anyone could get. (You should react to that from the Howard Stern show). Metallica has played with the San Francisco Symphony, played at San Quentin prison, and played the soundtrack for Mission Impossible 2 after Tom Cruise gave them a private screening of the movie, persuading them to do it. Even reactors on TH-cam.. I've seen everyone like all of the Big 4 bands but Metallica always seems to be the front runner because of their versatility. One minute you'll want to head bang, the next you can rock your baby to sleep with one of their ballads. Individually, ppl have differences of opinions when it comes to which band they think is the best out of the Big 4 and why. But when it comes to who is the biggest outside of personal opinions, Metallica wins.

One of the greatest live shows of theirs. This was the only Master of Puppets song they played when I saw them in the Fall(they played the Black Album in it’s entirety for the anniversary) but it was so dope to see James go to work.

The version of this song from Limp Bizkit (MTV) is insane!!

Pantera has a clear thrash influence in their sound especially starting in the 90s with their album Cowboys from hell. The two previous albums have a more traditional heavy/power metal sound to it. They could not be classified as a totally thrash band because of their groove sound that helped them differentiate from thrash bands in the 90's and practically create a new sound that was coined groove metal.

Please do Fade to Black or Creeping Death from this same concert. Absolutely legendary I promise.
