Hi zack I'm struggling with a problem. I can't decide on my main character. Could you please make a tierlist video where u describe best characters including your point of view about /clearing/bossing/mana consumpion,etc? Or maybe some advantages and disadvantages of each char? Greetings and thanks from advance
the only thing that's relevant right now (pve meta wise) is DPS in berthe raid (15-6) which falls under bossing. things like clearing and mana consumption, etc. aren't really things that hold as much significance atm.
if you want a support class tierlist there should be one in the updated rosso raid farming guide or in the how to find/form a rosso raid party, etc. (LB is A/B tier, CL is S tier, NP is SS tier- the noahs aren't in that tierlist)
i made a dps tierlist awhile ago in the updated rosso raid farming guide. i can't make a tierlist for berthe right now. or it'd be really hard and most likely be full of inaccuracies. berthe is still a relatively new meta. with 15-6 having skill ban phases- which is RNG, having heavy dependence on piloting more than rosso raid, most classes not having more than 1 or 2 properly geared/decent pilots representing them, the amount of factors that elsword presents when it comes to dpsing, etc. it's very hard to calculate which class is better like you can with genshin characters and it's going to take a long time for there to be enough solid data to make guesses about where classes are. Though, honestly, if you refer to the tierlist i made in the updated rosso raid video things probably haven't changed much since then (well, RH has moved up a lot but classes like DAB, CENT, DB, etc. probably haven't moved much at all.) if you want my probably inaccurate opinion of which classes are the best for DPS, it's probably DAB, RH, CENT, DB, DIA, LB, or CL. classes you probably want to avoid are AES, any rose, BL, RAS, NP (if you want to do damage)
Berthe raid also introduced this meta of needing gray spike damage dealers, so those classes are any rena, CENT, ES, ETW, CU, etc.
from my experience, very few players actually pick their main based off what is currently good in the game. you should pick who you like to play. like, who you think the design of is best, which playstyle you like best, which lore you like best, etc. try out classes see who you vibe with. cause you're going to be stuck with the class for a long time. also, there are serveral reasons why you also shouldn't worry about who you main:
1. alts. for rosso raid esp you SHOULD and can make alts to farm the raid. it really doesn't matter what class your main character is. you can even consider making alts for berthe raid as well. tldr you don't really need to worry about your class holding you back from key content like rosso and berthe because alts is a very prevalent option (and for rosso raid YOU SHOULD BE MAKING ALTS REGARDLESS OF WHAT CLASS YOUR MAIN IS IF YOU WANT TO PROGRESS MOST EFFICENTLY AS F2P)
2. any class can do at least acceptable dmg with enough gear
3. you can job change within your character. ex. if you wanna main FP or smth, you can always play CC/CENT and JC back to FP with free JC tickets. my friend was an RH main (when RH was trash after reboot) JCed to NI to farm ERP/rekindled fire/TSS (before rof nerf on NI) and then JCed back to RH for pvp after he finished farming.
4. not entirely related, but don't be scared/worried to try out new classes/make new classes. almost half the classes are good for farming rosso raid on, you want most if not all classes for synergy/espc anyways and making new characters allows you to do the epic quests again to make ed.
tldr, play who you want to play. if you really want to play a busted class -> DAB, CENT, DB, LB, or CL. and also final warning you should take my advice and anyone else's with a serious grain of salt. no one should have very accurate data for which classes are best in berthe rn. for example, ik chris prob don't wanna be called out here right now but dom was considered a shit class until chris got his hands on it and he's doing insane dps, but i'm pretty sure it's his insane piloting skills too since other ppl haven't been able to replicate his dmg with similar gear/better gear. this is probably speaking a bit too much, but 1. conventional knowledge can often be inaccurate 2. some elsword players tend to blame the game, etc. first before seeking to improve themselves which also leads to inaccuracies about class optimal damage output.

XD I'm really enjoying the supportness of NP, and he might be my favorite Noah to play after one day 3rd jobbing him; brings back memories of when I could actually do that every time and had no responsibilities... I thought this class could remove debuffs.
Switched to NyP day one, and also cleared berthe at reset. Its much more comfortable considering he's full support. I love summoning NA players to use as a damage reduction shield
I love both this class and celestial. I don’t know which is best for me. I used to play Eve empress. I like Noah but I also like Aoe attacks .
So in your opinion, the most suitable class for Noah's character is Calestia or Nyx Pieta?
How do you get that skill cut in portrait when you use awakening?
if you go to options be pressing esc or pressing O there's an option to turn on your skill cut-ins. you get the skill cut in awakening portrait after achieving transcendence (you get that quest at lv.70)

@@zack6607 Hmm now it seems to work. The last time I opened it, the URL had some unrecognizable symbols after zack_6607 (even though the URL in the description itself was right, so copying the link manually did work) and led to the "Sorry. Unless you’ve got a time machine, that content is unavailable" screen. But since it's fine now, it might have just been an issue on my side.

hello i have something to ask.
ive already complete the add theory dungeon quest 50/50 for the +9 void weapon amulet and already use it on Elesis.
And then i decided to start a new main char which is eve, and i got to the point where i need to grind void weapons. But if i get only +7 void weapon for her, should i buy a +9 magic amulet??
(currently cost 300m++ ED)

no, +9 sd weapon is enough to get you into rosso raid. save for a +11 amulet for the rosso raid weapon (flames of judgement demonic weapon/foj) when you get it.

You know what's funny: I main Dps characters, but I always feel like I'm never doing enough damage, but being support is super easy for me despite many saying its not recommended for newbies. Supporting as Bluhen? easy, Being Dps with KE? Hardest task in the world.
1. i don't really see what's funny, but i guess to each their own
2. you say you main dps characterS, was that plural intentional or a typo? optimally if you want to build a chara to dps, you should focus on one
3. if you're not doing enough damage, i feel like you should make sure to check your piloting/build with a more experienced person of your class preferably first
4. who isn't recommending newbies make support ALTS? because it's relatively easy to make support alts for rosso raid, it's highly recommend that newer players push to have all 12 ss/s tier support classes and farm rosso raid for exodia, foj, mystics and money in general for more efficient progression. and even for berthe raid, though it's highly less recommended, more expensive and less profitable in the long run, berthe raid alts are an option for players for various reasons
5. players recommend newbies not MAIN support classes because generally most people's end goal in elsword is to be DPS/carry in endgame content like berthe raid as while support classes CAN do damage, it requires so much more investment generally and if you have the same gear as a class who is better suited for damage, you will lose
6. if you don't care about pursuing the goal of eventually being carry/DPS in raid, and only are focused on getting taken into parties, etc. and being useful, then by all means main a support class. most ppl don't recommend new players main support classes because they assume people want to be able to do damage and its easy enough to make a support class as an alt, no need to main
7. also like, if you really like X class, then go ahead and play it
8. ofc doing damage is going to require more effort than playing support in elsword
9. also, just because a class isn't support, doesn't mean it automatically falls under "dps", some classes aren't really oriented for either
@@zack6607 First off: Yes Plural, I have all the Elbois and two out of three of the Ravens.. I'm missing RH :( I have a LB as well. Second My main is closer then Berthe then my other alts are and since I started around the time of Rosso raid I haven't come upon your wisdom yet cuz I was playing around with Elsword to see if I liked it so as such most of my actions are a result of newly acquired knowledge going forward. Third I considered it funny to me personally cuz I'm better at the characters I play on the side like Nyx and CL then the ones I main being Dps like my KE and my other two Elbois. I'm more of point with Red Damage and heals then I am soloing a serpent head in Rosso.

i woke up at 8am and started grinding with a friend until 2pm ish? we had mats for 2/5 and 4/5 already so that sped up the process for MC jc (the mats for those parts of the quest are bankshareable so we farmed it on CL/LIB before NP's release) i like crashed pretty hard after this ngl LOL
