It's Time For Chicken Noodle Soup

  • CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP WITH VEGETABLES
    1 1/4 pound chicken, bone in, cut up
    2 carrots, sliced
    1-2 teaspoons salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    4 cups water
    2 stalks celery, diced
    1/2 teaspoon sugar
    3 chicken bouillon cubes
    2 cups egg noodles
    Heat chicken and water to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer until chicken is cooked, about 45 minutes. Let cool and skim off fat. Drain the broth and set aside. Remove chicken from bones and cut into small pieces. Combine the broth, chicken and remaining ingredients except for the noodles. Simmer 30 minutes. Add noodles when there is about 12 minutes left of cooing time.
