Man, the sound of that CBS intro brings back memories! AND, MJ? FRIGGIN’ RELENTLESS! Dude was literally two different GOAT players in his career. Young MJ and his aerial acrobatics and pure ferocity. Old MJ was simply ruthlessly efficient! Killed you every way possible!
Watching these old games makes me remember how frustrating I would always get when Atlanta front office would bring in a "secondary star" player every year to help Nique. But they were all way pass their primes and usually retired after their Atlanta stint. Sidney Mincrief, Moses Malone, Reggie Theus, and some others I can't remember right now. If any player in NBA history deserves a ring, it would be Nique. Guy never had another star player on his side.
I miss this game so much. Was looking for it, and even the NBA does NOT have it in their archives, since the transition to NBC and ESPN, much old school footage is inaccessible.
Did Michael ever have a pause button? He was so active! MJ was a supreme being, still without any equals and the best ever to have played basketball, a man playing with a league of mortal children. This is why when he left he took so many fans with him and virtually all the casual fans.
God=Lord Jesus Christ is the only supreme being. He is Immortal. While the rest of us are all mortals in His eyes. Michael Jordan included. God=Lord Jesus Christ does condemn idolaters later that keep doing it and don't stop. Unfortunately there is no rest in the lake of fire and brimstone for the condemned that are either unrepentant or disbelieving. It is the second death.

Yeah, he was a TOTAL sleeper of a pick... even tho he dominated, he was considered a project, too skinny, and playing for a small school was at that time considered unproven / a risk. But a perfect pick for Chicago!
all nba fans MUST LISTEN..........listen to 35:09 to 35:45 How NBA punished GOAT by not even naming him 1987 NBA All-Def 2nd team. despite 100+ blks/200+ steals in 1987. Just like Kobe benefitted being LAL, NBA elite franchise and clearly robbed D-Wade of 2 All-Def FIRST teams. 1987 MJ was consequitively robbed of 1 All-NBA FIRST and SECOND (1985) teams in 1987 and 1985 respectively. Back than, NBA elite franchises (LAL, BOS, PHI, DET, BUCKS) benefitted just playing good defense on those franchises. Cooper, Dennis J and Alvin Robertson were picked ahead of 1987 GOAT. There were always perks for playing for ELITE franchises compared to traveling cocaine circus and bottom feeding frachises. Kobe benefitted from that immensely for atleast 3 all-Defensive FIRST team selections. Wade was deliberately wasn't voted ahead of Kobe despite former being NBA steals leader in one of those year. Cooper maybe ahead of 1987 MJ as a 1987 DPOY but definitley not Dennis J. Alvin was equal to 1987 MJ.

Great pass from Oakley at 4:48 fast break. Charles is an underrated passer. Even in Toronto he was throwing precise alley-oop passes to Vince Carter.
Dominique should have been in the dream team
Yeah, I'm still not sure why he wasn't. I seem to recall he was injured tho... maybe I'm wrong. (?)
Exactly

We were spoiled. Just think. We had MJ, Bo Jackson, and Mike Tyson in the same period of time!
Amazing, rare dunk angles at 1:00 of Nique & MJ
smh at uninformed idiots on tv talking about Jordan didn't start winning until pippen came along, lol pippen was so bad at times as a rookie that its actually funny lol
l 😆 at the 3 on 1 break pippen and Oakley screwed up early in the game, and Jordan carried that team to 50 wins...all time carry job
Also Horace Grant, it took a lot of Jordan practices to get those two leveled up.
Would you believe that Verne Lundquist was only 47 in this broadcast? Would look like he's in his 60s today. Times have changed.

I've never see those angles to those dunks before! Referring to the beginning of the video.
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
You're talking about the Dominique & Jordan dunks at 1:00 exactly ?
I've never seen those angels either. Awesome.
16:16 MJ was not only the best player in the game but the best athlete too, only Dominique Wilkins was almost as athletic as him!😍😍
Listen closely @ around 9:48 to get Rick Rolled
Mikhail Jordansky the GOAT 23.
Thanks 🙏

The one and ONLY G🏀AT.
Mike played w/ some bums man..
Interesting to see Jordan with hair.

Never heard of Chris Washburn, that was a really nice dunk
Washburn was legit!!! His off-the-court life was a mess. Sadly, that was common back in the day!
17:11 Pippen surprise pick in the 1st round?
