Could you imagine Ron Dennis asking Kimi or Juan to move over to let the other past in that era of f1 the radio messages would have been box office content 🤣

I mean, considering team orders where banned in 05 - no 😂
However, what is interesting is Renault clearly used team orders in 05 without punishment

I think every team is guilty of a “Valletteri it’s James” or “let Michael pass for the championship” moment 🤣

James Allen maybe somewhat brash in the final two years of ITV broadcast but credit where it’s due that he was one of the few that actually builds up hype, tension and excitements. Nothing against Alex Jacques on F1TV or Crofty, they have their own quirks but James Allen’s enthusiasm along with building excitement while adding context was gold.

Jacques as well should take notes.

      He’s preferable to Crofty though.

People slammed James Allen, but he's better than Crofty, Alex Jacques, Ben and a couple of others

What I loved about Allen was there was never any illusions as to who he was rooting for, and he never pretended it was any other way. Yet despite this he’d always call everything with enthusiasm.
Meanwhile you watch Sky, Crofty, and especially Ted, try to act like they’re impartial when in fact they’re massive cheerleaders for certain drivers. Hell, Sky got rid of Hill, Herbert and di Resta because they didn’t want “cheerleaders” anymore. Crofty will at least show enthusiasm. Ted acts like you’ve shot his dog if someone inconveniences Lewis or Lando, or someone mentions Michael Masi.
Allen and Brundle was a duo so good you can justify putting them above even Walker and Hunt. Croft, Jacques and Edwards could never achieve that.
