  • Welcome to our cozy little home on wheels! We have been living on the road for about 9 months now, and are thrilled to finally release a tour of the bus! All together the build took us about a year and a half, and we spent roughly $40,000 from start to finish. We filmed our entire build, so if you are interested in seeing how we constructed anything in detail check out our build series!
    Thank you all for following along on our adventures so far, and we cannot wait to share all that is to come. As always, ask us anything in the comments about our build, lifestyle, or even just our favorite snacks!
    🧡Thanks for watching! Bye, love you!

    We forgot to show you our trunk/garage space 🫣 Under the back half of our bed is a ton of storage space that we access from the back door. We’re able to store skis, a snowboard, our backpacking gear, tools, seasonal clothing, and lots of other miscellaneous things back there!

    Nice build! great job on it. One note: Carbon monoxide detector needs to be down near the floor, not up by ceiling....

    • @AdventureTrudge
      @AdventureTrudge  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! That’s actually a myth that stems from them needing to be plugged into outlets. If you google it, you’ll find out that carbon monoxide is actually lighter than air and dissipates evenly throughout a space so it’s recommended that the alarms are placed around eye level 😊

    PS from what I can see of your window blinds there very pretty.

    The problem with magnetic knives is not when you drive, but when you get into an accident. Sufficient enough force will propel them flying forward.

    • @AdventureTrudge
      @AdventureTrudge  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably not while we’re traveling full time, but maybe one day if we park the bus more permanently somewhere! Our diesel heater is just so quick and efficient, we really don’t feel like a wood stove is necessary.

      Thank you!! We both were lucky enough to work for a company that opened a lot of remote roles during the pandemic (we’re in the biopharm industry). It seems pretty difficult to find remote work right now unfortunately, because everyone wants it :( it’s not fun but our best advice is to apply to anything and everything 🫣

    • @AdventureTrudge
      @AdventureTrudge  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s a 2022 Honda Grom. We bought it with the intention of using it to do quick trips into town so we could leave the bus parked at our campsites. However, after 9 months on the road we decided it was not as convenient as we had hoped and we ended up buying a used car for a secondary vehicle. We still currently have the motorcycle but we’re looking to sell it since we don’t have a need for it anymore.
