Mam there is condition in 13920 .If column (b/D) ratio is less than 0.4 then we have to design it as per.. clause 9.1.1 by considering the shear strength of concrete at column beam joint With respect to the demand shear stress at the joint...and the shear strength of concrete at column beam joint should always be greater than the demand shear stress ...can you please make a video on that column design when (d/D) ratio is less than 0.4 ...by briefly explaining the clause 9.1.1.. Col will not design if the ratio will less than 0.4. We have to resize the column.
