This will be settled before the first day of trial
That Denzel reference was gold.
The Gators are going to be fine and six months from now the narrative on social media will be..."I always knew Billy Napier was the right guy"...if you are a Gators fan, you dont temper your support based on how good or bad you think the coach is...I support Billy N. 100% because there isnt another option until there is
It's a money game now. Florida surrounding superstar Lagway with top NIL talent is wiser than blowing 25 million on Napier exit fees plus a talent exodus. Billy gets 4 years.
Agree I was talking to my dad about this I say billy needs atleast 4-5 years if we get to year 5 and no improvement then yes hire someone else but you need more than two years to establish culture in the team and locker room
Rashada is bad news..he is a huge POS in college football
Thank you the guy transferred what twice and trying to compete at UGA for spot 1 and is still looking for money cause he didn’t get any good deals from other schools 😂
could NOT agree more……. ANYTHING for $$$$$
This is what happens when you tell a kid he's worth millions and his parents see $$$ kids are buying homes and haven't played a snap in CFB.
It's hard to discipline a millionaire he could walk out at any moment
Exactly nil has made some of these kids making more money than a damn 3rd string lineman in the NFL 😂 and the money hungry parents don’t help, like there has to be a set limit on how much money these kids can make in a givin year or season, and it shouldn’t be millions of dollars max should be 100k-200k and that’s if the kid stays in school for 4 years
This is what happens when you allegedly commit fraud on a high school kid and his family. You will get sued.
@@shawnandrews329 😆 yeah we'll see
I've read this, and it's not a legally binding contract . I'm an attorney in Jacksonville, Florida . I wish that it was because I'm a Florida St graduate. The parents should've hired an attorney because any attorney would have had this signed and notarized.
You guys are not paying attention to the details. Ruiz said Rashada did not have a $9M+ contract with Life Wallet. Rashada may have had some combination of multiple sources from Miami amounting to the $9M+ NIL deal.
If you have listened to some lawyers who have read what he is suing for this case is meant to settle for no where near what people think. This case could take years depending on how far Jaden’s lawyers can go to think they could win in federal court. His contract with UF is not in the court docs. His fight is he lost 9.5M with Miami by choosing Florida and the Billy promised him “1 million”.The problem is Billy didn’t talk to Jayden, he spoke to his father. Florida is a two consent state so any recordings are not admissible in court. He has to prove what Billy said. Good luck with that. The other factor is John Ruiz said no contract with Miami ever existed. This is making Miami being drug through the mud as well. Miami stated no contract which helps UF. If there was Miami would be in trouble as well saying there wasn’t. So no contract helps both parties. Some lawyers think this will settle because if they take it to federal court 1. Jaden has to pay these guys big money on a case they probably won’t win. 2. Jaden will have to be dispose and any lawyer in their right mind won’t allow that. If he testifies and lies, then he is facing charges after that point. Unless there is a contract on paper saying Billy or anyone else said sometbing good luck on proving anything. Whatever this kid may get probably close to half will pay to lawyers. The longer this case goes the more money Jaden will have to pay his lawyers.
Y’all aren’t gators if you’re shitting on Billy. If you actually look into everything (I’m not a lawyer or anything) but both parties could walk away for any reason in this contract and it will damn sure be hard to prove Billy did all of this just to take the kid away from his deal at Miami which is in fact why they are suing
Jaden Rashada's father offered me $1,000 to like his post, so since I say he told me that, can I sue?
What is happening is this a bad dream! I’ll miss the glory days UF and college football for that matter. Here comes the Guinea pigs to be roasted as teams and coaches fumble through this process and get exposed because politics seems to be more interesting than actual game play now. 🤮
“Awesome, just great Andy” 😭😭😭
Never thought I would see the day Kentucky Football 🏈 lived in Florida’s head.
you weren't even considering a game until 5 years ago. think Kentucky fans are still a little upset
Would you trade your current NIL deal for what’s behind the third door?
"Money" McClain is from lakeland not Orlando. I coached him in rec football
He only named Napier because the university has insurance that has limits on payouts
He named Napier because after they terminated the NIL deal Nappier personally called Rashada and told him not to worry ..that he’d make sure he got him his money.
@@adamherndon168 and rashada Panicked
@@chuckadams1229 what’s funny is that Florida sent a check for $150,000 to the Miami booster just so they wouldn’t sue Rashada for breaking his NIL contract with miami. And now Rashada is suing Florida.
@@adamherndon168 dam, not good lol
Napier would be smart to leave after the Miami loss, so the Gators have an excuse when Samford woops them. Lots of players will transfer elsewhere after 2024. Maybe Cormani stays with one of the mass exodus scholarships.
And lose 25 mil? Dumb. He has a strong team built up for 2025 with Lagway attracting more top talent.
So when UF wins, what will you be saying then? And I don’t do back and forth conversation. Money talks. Bull💩 walks.
Andy, appreciate your work and approach in general. On this topic why not have an experienced civil suit lawyer on and give him the floor to share his insights into how these cases unfold generally and what the objectives and strategies are. You and Nick are intelligent and solid professionals but this area is not your strength. Just a suggestion….also why not seek insights into the bigger context…ncaa settlement and nil…
Dark cloud for 13 months? How about dark cloud for 13 years.....
Love Billy....Go Cats
This will be settled and NDA’s will be signed.
Cristobal won’t have to sell hope when they lose to Fla.
They’ll strong off a bunch of wins vs that garbage schedule and the fans will hype up Mia again lol
I agree Hathcock should've never tweeted anything. Once he backed out the first time he should've never kept talking about giving any signing bonus money. Walker should've never texted any of those messages acting like he had the money himself. The Gator Collective should've stayed out of it. Instead all those buffoons decided to be the hero and promise a kid $13.85M.
Almost feels like C.D. Went to Florida State instead of Florida
I’m gonna be honest I think this needs to happen to show that there should be limits as to what money an nil deal is it shouldn’t be millions of dollars at max if you stay at school for 4 years maybe the kid makes 100k-200k not outrageous numbers that exceed 10 mill so basically if the kid is good he will make 50-75k in a year not like 200-300k in a year
I disagree….. BN stepping into the SEC was quite a jump ‼️
Gonna need more benefit car washes in Gainesville. 🤣🤣🤣
Sounds like a football merc. Works for the highest payer. I honestly hope this leads to some changes. What if the "collective" sues a kid for breaking his contract, for singing a deal. Then said player transfers to another school?
Why would the Rashada’s sign a contract w/ a clause that it can be terminated at any time?
It does seem deceptive/fraudulent in the way that it lured Rashada away from Miami only to not follow through in the end.
The lawyer has a good reputation and I don’t think he’d lie about evidence of Napier guaranteeing $1M.
As a UF fan, I hope Napier gets fired along with Stricklin. I have so much hate for the UAA.
this is college football now.............screw all of this bs including all the "schools"
If Miami losses to Fl in Gainesville it won’t be a meltdown for Miamis season granted if We lose to FL it will be a huge disappointment due to the fact the we believe we are WAY better but Miami will still be in contention to win the ACC, Gainesville is not a easy place to go into & Win but I’ll bet the house on Miami week 0 🤝🏾🙌🏾
Him and his family greed cost them 9.5 from 305 away 🐊 need to be thankful for the vols lawsuit against the ncaa because uf won’t get punished by the ncaa because it’s no rules to go by it’s anarchy right now
Now Miami just paid elite player money in the portal for not one elite player 😂😂. Season can’t get here soon enough.
McClain was cheeks last year. He had poor work ethic. He got torched by Cam Ward at Washington St. 8/8 for 172.
This is nothing but the Rashadas chasing $, Jayden has since been to 2 Universities and got nothing, so now his family is trying to figure how to get paid
Each Gator fan to pay the guy $1750 each
Most of em can’t swing $17.50
For what he did nothing for the university
@@williamwhitfield6225hilarious coming from a Georgia fan
@@jahendrix1543 You are correct, it was a pretty good joke. Lucky for you and your fan base I won’t charge for it.
@@williamwhitfield6225 most of the Georgia fans I know live in trailer homes with their cousins, but thanks
Napier’s job won’t rely on beating Miami. But if he loses he’ll prove he’s not the right HC for Fla.
If you can’t beat an ACC team that’s gone 12-13 the past two seasons at home in year 3 of your tenure, not only are you not the guy, you most likely will only have 1 guaranteed win on the schedule (Samford).
Mia is no better than the 8th best team on Fla’s schedule. I’ll put them equal with Tamu and Miss St but ahead of Samford and UCF.
Miami paid big $ for this team. They have higher ranked talent than UF. Would not be surprised if they make crucial mistakes in the SWAMP.
It's Deion and Colorado fault...you forgot that part bud. Need those clicks....
Jaden rashada greed is his own downfall
😂 good one
@@charlesdennysfg7479 I mean I’m sure he didn’t run to them asking for 13 million when he already had a deal In place. Florida and their boosters completely botched this whole situation.
Rashada and his greedy dad know that the kid lacks the talent to be a D1 starter, so they’re desperately grabbing any money they can before he washes out and sells insurance. That’s the headline.
How many game winning drives has this kid lead. 0. How many touchdown passes. 0
Why are supposed educated adults paying money to an unproven commodity? Show me results first, money later according
Wawawawa. Gators gotta point back to Miami. Nick is a hack.
🤣🤣🤣 @ Florida people tryna find a way to to blame Miami for there booster not paying a recruit they promised money too & didn’t pay …. SO RECRUIT’S PAY ATTENTION FLORIDA DONT PAY THERE PLAYERS WHAT THEY PROMISED THEY WOULD
I’m sure recruits are reading your comment especially since it’s in all CAPS! 🤡🤡🤡
F&^% UF crying azzes
Bet u felt so cool typing this
OMG guys look, its a keyboard gangsta! 😃
Bozo the clown Billy is the worst coach in college football is unbelievable and I’m a Florida State fan
And yet here you are!!!
Yet Billy gave FSU's more talented team all they wanted in the last game.
Billy Napier will go down as the worst head coach in Gator history. Maybe college football history. He’s THAT bad.
you dont know ball
Dumbest comment of the week.
He is the worse 🐊🏈 head coach
Wrong. Billy has built up talent. Has a senior QB and a functioning RT in 2024. He has turned the ship and gave young players experience in 2023.
@@williambyrd2149 he’s nothing but a great recruiter he can’t coach worth a damn on the sec level. Makes no on field adjustments at all.
Gator Nation sure do whine and cry a lot! This falls at the feet of a failed football program...
Y'all need to blame the top brass and not the kid!
Y'all should be thanking this kid for a reason to get rid of Sunbelt Billy...
As a Dawg fan, we hope y'all keep him for 10 more years!
we can be bad for another 10 years and it would still be half the time UGA went without a national championship
Dawgs are scared that UF has turned the ship. They thought taking Rashada and Etienne would hurt UF. Yet resulted in UF getting QB Lagway and RB Baugh. WIN UF!
"Ya'll"...😂...lol...😂
