Best advice I got as a new mother was to wash baby’s bum under the sink with lukewarm water vs using wipes at home. My girls never had rashes. I saved wipes for outings. You might also get a baby sensor pad. We had false alarms with ours but I was so worried about SIDS. Congratulations on your baby girl ❤️
Regarding the onesie underwear it is super useful as it doesn’t only contains baby’s blowouts but it also keeps the baby’s dipper up and tight which decreases leaking chances , it is necessity in my social circle and i was surprised when I found out that not everyone uses them , they are sooo helpful, i uses a sleeveless one for my daughter

I recommend looking into Kyte Baby. They have organic bamboo pieces that are absolutely fantastic, especially their sleep sacks and rompers (tip: if you get some, get the long sleeve snap rompers, they will last you way longer)!

The Doona stroller I got it 2 years ago . I was the first one in Sweden to have . Everyone was just gazing to this lovely solution. It’s extremely handy and easy to use if you get the bag the small and big one that you can hang in the front the small one and at the back the big one . It’s optional bags .
I find that sudocream is one of the BEST diaper rash creams out there. And I also recommend trying Bioderma’s baby shower gel, shampoo, lotion, oil, etc since it’s really gentle on the baby’s skin. I also thought I should let u know that when washing the baby’s clothes make sure ur using a baby detergent(unscented is recommended). And the idea that u mentioned where u put the short sleeve bodysuit under the baby’s sleep suit is actually a very common thing to do, and I have always done that, so I 100% recommend you do that.

I have two boys and they have SUPER sensitive skin and I highly suggest baby dove sensitive. It nourishes the skin and keeps moisture in! Congratulations 🎈
My mum used sudocream which is really good for all types of burns cuts and nappy rashes you will literally go through loads of tubs. Inshallah everything will go good throughout your pregnancy

Hi Lena 💗. Just wanted to recommend that when cleaning the baby's bottom for a nappy change, use cotton balls and warm water to clean. It's way softer than wipes as their skin is still really delicate. My mother did this for my siblings and me when we were newborns. Also gripe water works for all the reasons you mentioned 😊❤❤
Omg Leena...That stroller is honestly the best thing ever. My cousin got it as a gift for my sister's newborn baby and it's honestly the best thing you can have! Subhanallah I was literally using it yesterday and just learned how to use it yesterday! You'll love it!❤
I would recommend Sudocrem nappy cream. It heals nappy rash way faster than other brands and is gentle on baby's skin. ❤💕
I used that same nail trimming kit. Be careful because it’s super easy to not realize that the discs scrape on the skin of the baby fingers. Also I found it much easier to use a regular baby trimmer. Also doterra makes an organic baby cream but idk if it’s a company you would endorse. I’m so happy for you! I can’t wait to see her beautiful little face!🥰😇

Gripe water is a God send. My niece has hiccups like nobody's business and she used to get so angry and just cry and cry. A few drops of the gripe water and her hiccups go away within a few minutes. Also from years of nannying and helping raise my little siblings, pinxav is the best diaper rash cream. It's pronounced pink salve btw lol

I just came across your channel and LOVE your aesthetic! The bumco is definitely essential because diaper rash cream can get messy. Pampers pure have been the best for all of the kids I nanny for! They are very soft/gentle on the skin and I have never experienced a blowout with them which is a plus! Hope that helps! Noodle and Boo baby wash and lotion also smells so amazing and leaves their skin super soft!

Hello Leena! I hope you’re doing well. I’m sure that you are so excited for your little princess to arrive! She will be the luckiest little girl inshallah. Inshallah a healthy baby. I’m so happy for you and Omar. I would recommend getting undershirts for the babies (that close on the bottom) and they are so so useful!! I loved the ones from Carters Oshkosh, they were so soft and came in a pack and you can buy many different sizes. They are very easy for diaper changes as well. Also huggies diapers are great!! Another thing is baby lotions, shampoos, body wash. This is so important. Babies skin is so sensitive and gets super irritated from scents so I would recommend Aveeno non scented lotion, shampoo and body wash. Have a good rest of your pregnancy inshallah ❤️, you look beautiful mashallah

I would say though buy a few button down onesies as well since I noticed a problem with zip ones, they tend to bulge in the middle sometimes (if you get what I mean, similar to how in any jacket you wear if you sit in it with the zipper closed, it tends to protude in the middle) I would highly recommend onesies by JoJoMaman Bebe. They really dont wear out even if you wash them multiple times a day. Very good quality products.
And do buy a couple of black and white colored hanging toys or something, babies easily recognize them in the initial months.
I do recommend avoiding plastic bottles and going for glass bottles as much as possible. I know sometimes it may seem inconvenient because there's the worry of dropping or breaking them, but it really is harmful to feed a baby from a plastic container. So please consider the glass ones as an option. This is just a tip though. Also love the vid Leena!

My sister bought the doona stroller for my nephue and it was so convenient and easy for everyday use. It's very lightweight but can also topple over easy if too much weight is applied on the handles. Btw love ur vids and good luck

Hi Leena, loving your nursery. Just wanted to suggest few things:
A waterproof matress protector for baby and your bed just incase you water breaks and you will definetly need it once baby comes . Buy multiple bed sheets and covers ect as they will be handy if they feel sick or accidently pee on the bed or whatever.
For baby bottles we used MAM they are fantastic and it certainly helps with gas.
For baby shampoo/ shower gel I use Aveeno Baby which was recommended by my DC when my baby developed Exczema.
As for your stroller slash car seat it seems very handy but you need to be careful not to keep baby there for too long they dont recommend having a baby esp new born in carseat for too long as it can interrupt breathing. I had the bugaboo fox it's really nice and comfortable and yoyo is very popular and convenient.
For your hospital you should consider buying medical disposable pants for the first few days post birth.

Yess always put the onsie under the clothes so they dont ruin anything. Also CARTERS sells like a whole pack of white onsies for 12$ and theres different colors. Try carters they have so much basic stuff for babies!!

For the diaper rash cream application, I agree that it is messy to clean off your hands, because it like a white paste. I used an old make up brush that I didn't mind tossing later.

Salaam Leena love. Regards the bottles I would 1000% recommend the NUK brand. The teats are designed to mimick the nipple and the pressure on babies gums+jaws are reduced significantly compared to other teats. I have used this brand for my 2 children and have never looked back. Plus they have really cute Soothers 😊 I use the silicone rather than latex. Hope this helps In Shaa Allah xx

Not sure if you already bought a diaper bag but if you didn’t, try to get one that’s backpack style instead of like a purse so it’s convenient for you and Omar and can grow with her. With a baby, hands free is the best :)! Also, just a ‘hack’ pack essentials (I.e clothes, food, bibs, etc) in ziploc bags when putting them in the diaper bag so it’s organized

Honest company and seventh generation are hands down THE best diapers!! They're super sensitive and soft, and they have the nice little elastic on the back that helps prevent blowouts! Only ones we've used with my daughter, everything else gave her a horrrrrible rash!
Everything is so elegant and cute Mashallah. Can't wait for the baby inshallah ❤ Also ik right now we cant really go out a lot but if you didn't get a baby bag to put diapers and maybe a changing pad and a change of clothes, I would highly recommend it so when you go out anywhere you can just grab the bag whenever she needs to change her diaper or clothes if they get messy or anything. I usually just use a patting motion on the bum skin when I apply creams. I don't use spatulas just because I think being able to feel the skin is important too making sure its not bumpy or anything. But well it's just my way.

Gerber makes white oneises available at target. They are really cheep too and sometimes you just need to toss them (because blowouts). I am not a mom yet but all my friends and family who are say they are great.

- Shower gel and lotion: just test them at first on her skin, because some babies have very sensitive skin and they can only bear zero fragrance products
- Bath tub: you can get the Skip Hop Moby one (the matching one to the grey pitcher you got). It can also be used for newborns, as it has a sling
