I was in Alpha Company a year after Capt. Forrester. He was and is a legend and I am proud to have served in the same unit that he was in. I met Capt. Forrester in Washington DC at the Wall. It was my privilege to shake his hand.

If these hero's were studied or even mentioned in high school history, I would've made straight A's. Why is this part of our history not shared honorably to our future.

Thank you for your service. Respect. Welcome home

Wow What great men!
Once again people--real heroes don't beat their chests.
AMERICA! 🇺🇸 🗽
Of course the black guy doesn't get the Medal of Honor.
Nico Montinola not about color
Lt. Col. McDade was no better than LBJ!
An absolute unqualified leader!
Whoever awarded McDade those medals needs to be mentally examined.
Those 155 KIA and 124 wounded deserved those metals.
Who in their right-mind calls their leaders to the front with radios attached to each platoons, knowing they were in ambush territory and still surrounded, or at least prepared for being surrounded, and just wanted to be praised for his "battle" command. Ugh!
