Gigs of ram kind of a bummer I started Mining ETHW, because of the ETC fifthening and realized you cannot mine ETHW because of the dag size it’s already went over six gig, and I understand there’s a lot more to choose from. But still a bummer. But if TSWIFT makes a good deal that it might be appealing.
Hey, as you have mentioned earlier that Kaspa Asic price rise are one pump away so b/w this x16-qe & ka box pro, which one you recommend buying write now. Ka box pro is also running slightly cooler than the KA box. I am slightly tangled between these 2 miners so not sure whether to go for both of them or just one of them
Definitely a tough choice , but one thing to factor is the hashrate is likely to get hit abnormally hard when that bitmain shipment happens in August and with these iceriver shipments going to add to it also. Really comes down to which you think will appreciate more, I like the longevity aspect of the jasminer as it's likely to be significantly profitable for a longer period of time, but if kaspa appreciates a ton in 2025 , o er the long haul can potentially make more, so kind of depends on your accumulation goals. Id personally go with the jasminer , think the ka boxes are overpriced considering the pricing of the other models
@miningstacker I just noticed that with x16-qe model, ETHW is no longer mine able as the Dag size increased to 6.01GB recently which is more than RAM of this model. Even the bombax ez100-c model can't mine ETHW, I guess
@miningstacker so I ordered one ka box pro instead on Sunday and today kaspa prices gone up! The portability factor was one of the main concern, for me. I am pretty sure Kaspa price will appreciate to a certain point where it will be possible to achieve break even on these boxes despite with upcoming kas hashrate increase. Now once the x44-q arrives, I will be swapping it with my x16-1950m. I wish I have enough space.
Iceriver KS0 Ultra out. 4 units stack up to 1.6 TH/s @ 400 watts for just $1396. Almost half the price of the Goldshell KA Pro Box at 200 watts less. Worth the wait.
So my thought , if it doesn't come out til end of year/q1 2025 , likely to be priced very high , and in reality , come the bull market , efficiency kind of goes out the window and becomes all about the hash/yield. The efficiency was ideal during these down times to keep you profitable, but we are hopefully nearing the end. As far as affecting the profitability, ethash/etc is much more of a mature network so won't crazily affect yield , but just depends on what you mine. By biggest thing is how soon the x44 would come and price.

I would definately go with Bombax =) BTW, i have already ordered EZ100 from Tswift and will be arrived in a few days.I am excited with that unit but my only concern how to run it in home >_> I will try to use silencers like we did for Kaspa miners hope it will work =)
Specs wise , yes bombax definitely superior , the reliability would be my.only concern , but do seem to be solid. Only issue with the fans , is that it doesn't appear to be a standard fan plug which you can see on the front of the unit, so going to have to wait for a spoofer for it , unless there's a way to disable the fans on the stock gui

@@Tanlex-tw5sq most of them use the same 4 pin fans so the spoofers/simulators so even between brands they work , but their plug is something that is very different , appears to be those plugs in front , also only 2 front fans and they are beefy , voskcoin has a good review on it

I still think the better choice was the e9 pro if you got it at a good price, the efficiency was important to get you through the toughest part of the bear, we're nearing the end now. If price action does what we hope next year, it all becomes about the hashrate and yield and efficiency kind of goes out the window.

Nah , this is definitely the place always ask even if it's off topic , my biggest think with hosting is going to be trust and of course price. The only two I would consider hosting with if in the US are coastal crypto and terra hosting . There have been too many times with hosts doing shitty things in the past , so trust would play a huge part and those are the only ones I would currently consider personally because of that.

Was a weird choice to downgrade the ram considering the cost is likely negligible, we'll see now if the rest also drop a bit

The $4150 is definitely lower, but shipping and tariffs push that higher than C.M.B. price. From what I have heard, the X44 is EOY or later.
