    Just wanted to say that I'm legitimately impressed by this. I'm a reporter over at Kotaku, been writing about games for a long time now, and I know what it's like to try and ask a biting question to the head of a company. You're trying to be respectful, but also do right by your readers and their hard earned money, and I think you did that. Kudos.

    Ubisoft would be nothing without its fans. So to Yves no matter how harsh we are with our critic criticism it just show how dedicated and how much we love the AC series, Far Cry, Watch Dogs etc. It brings a lot of gamers together to have discussions about their games. Tho yes I'm at the edge of getting burnt out for AC specifically but I will keep watch of the future installments because something does catch my eye. And Ubisoft is pretty much one of my favorite game companies so I will praise them when they did good and critic them on the bad.

    _Great batch of interviews this year. Especially this and the one with Patrice. This is why I'm glad to see regular youtubers getting noticed by companies. Transparency is always one of the most important things for a company in my eyes._

    Was unfortunate that the video quality turned out like this, but it was still an enjoyable interview. Yves still as kind as I remember like you said.. hopefully ubisoft will continue to improve how they do things and bring us better and better games. I'm very excited for some upcoming ones.. like For Honor. Thanks for doing the interviews Loomer.

    The one question that stood out to me was Prince of Persia, I just hate whenever they confuse us like that. We don't need any release date or anything just answer the simple question: WILL IT RETURN? Even though this would've ended up with the exact same response you totally should've asked him about ACMP.

    Quite interesting to view the company goals compared to another developer like, for example, Rockstar.. Rockstar notoriously like breathing space between IP's and stand by the fact that they won't get old if they're not over saturated, compared to Ubisoft that have the goal of releasing annually if possible.

    wait wait wait "Make sure they have enough freedom to create what they want". Didn't Jesper Kyd say he didn't have enough freedom when he was working on AC Revelations? .... The interview is very goood, I really liked it, but Yves Guillemot should be honest.

    He sacked desilets, the man does not care about fans, if he did he'd have delayed unity, he cares about money.
    Ubisoft is more like ea by the day

    • @iZuqoo
      @iZuqoo 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ashley Bricks Of course he care about money, he's a fucking CEO.

    • @RaininStormwake
      @RaininStormwake 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ashley Bricks It was probably more then just his decision, and you do not know exactly why they did it. Anything you read/heard was probably not the full story either. It is wise not to assume things..

    • @ashleybricks8813
      @ashleybricks8813 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      RaininStormwake I know for a fact the story about what they did to the CA testers was true, but moving away from that , we all experienced the roo blend Unity had, and they knew about them months before from the beta they had(which you can see footage of).
      But on the desilets front I agree it's murky, but having read the interview in game informer ubisoft were complete s***** to him, hence why he's suing them and why the case is still continuing

    • @RaininStormwake
      @RaininStormwake 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ashley Bricks was mostly talking about the desilets thing, I won't defend their release of Unity in its release state.. it was quite disapointing. Unity could have been the best singleplayer yet, in my opinion.. it was the most enjoyable one for me, the first one that didn't bore me at all, but the bugs were too much.

    ok so, new engine is his excuse for unity but whats his excuse for lack luster story? most of it was watered down AC2 story with boring characters

    Love Ubisoft, but Guillemot needs to do more English classes. Not that I couldn't understand him, he spoke very clearly, but his terminology is really poor. Either do this or speak French FFS and we'll understand!
