I want Evie to play a major role in this because she's a master assassin like ezio or Altair and dedicated to the creed where as Jacob is like Edward he thinks of the assassins as a secondary thing an puts his gang in front of the assassins like Edward he puts the pirate thing first and the assassins second.
The fact that this guy has worked on AC2 and Brotherhood whereas most of the team seem to be new to the series (joined AC3 and after) gives me a bit of hope for this game :) hopefully he can bring some core elements from the older games that have been missing in recent installments! :D

Alright, I'm on board since the story end of Syndicate seems to be covered. To me, most of Unity's technical issues would have been forgiveable if the story would have had some actual intrigue to drive us forward. So it's great to see Yohalem pretty much bursting with confidence. Thanks Loomer!
I have faith in this guy (and his awesome btw). So far all the games he wrote stories for were amazing: AC2 (glyphs), AC Brotherhood, Far Cry 3 (fun fact: the setting of FC3 is 'Rook' island, the name of Jacob's gang is 'The Rooks') and Child of Light. I hope he doesn't drop the balls with the modern day in ACS like Darby did in AC Unity.
I'm betting now that there will be some people will like syndicate while others will dislike it or give it unnecessary hate. Just a feeling, but I like what I'm hearing even tho its not much but reasons why I'm excited about the game. Story and having fun is everything to me in AC series. Tho I'm stuck watching the gameplay on TH-cam cheers xD
This (and the previous interview) actually made me more excited about the game than any of the released trailers.
