Few additions: - Hallowed Life Barrier (costly but versatile both for otk/combo/burn; consider specifically in chaos or anything that runs a good discard fodder package) - Spirit Reaper (alternative to Cipher Soldier, solid against RGate and it gets even better if you're playing Tomato) - Hysteric Fairy (Token Thanksgiving but on legs and light attribute) - Kuriboh (actually not awful) - Creature Swap (if you're on Goat and not maining it already) - Legendary Jujitsu Master/Golem Sentry (defensive lads)
Notable omissions: Delinquent Duo (if not main decked) Don Zaloog (in conjunction with a small Warrior package + some # of RotA) Level Limit - Area B Mystical Space Typhoon (if not main decked) Swords of Concealing Light Bottomless Trap Hole (don't use unless you've maxed out on battle traps though) Compulsory Evacuation Device Gravity Bind Nightmare Wheel Will add to this if I think of more examples
Yes I went 7-0 into top 8 at a chaos return 2006 regional w/ chaos return siding into burn. I kept breaker in, against one guy. I used the token on his scapegoat and he got locked out against my wave-motion.
As a Steingate user, I say you have to pre-emptively side against monster floodgates. Add stuff like Book of Moon, Compulsory Evacuation Device, Lightning Vortex, Ring of Destruction, Swords of Concealing Light against anticipated Last Warriors and Jowgens. If your deck benefits from resolving a flipped Cyber Jar, then add that.
the thing is, asura priest is versatile, cause it’s very good againts goat AND chaos recruiter because you can kill all the mystic tomato,angel,whatever in one shot,for me 2 asura priest in the side it’s a most!
Its a light, it deals damage on open boards, clears all recruiters, cant be taken with snatch/TER. Token thanksgiving is only good if you are going for game imo
Asura is better for most decks, including aggro especially, but Token Thanksgiving is good for combo decks, and covers both the burn matchup and the control matchup.

I like to side into a reasoning gate machine stratagy with my cyber stein otk deck. It’s not super competitive, but can really pop off sometimes.

I don't think this would work as you are not allowed to tribute mind-controlled monsters at all - and Mystik Wok requires to tribute.

I feel like Token Thanksgiving is superior to Asura since you don't have to waste a normal summon.

There's pros and cons to both. Asura stays safe in your hand. Can be troublesome for the opponent.
