Check into the piriformis and piriformis syndrome, though it could be something else kind of similar like a different pinched nerve or something with the SI joint.

Amazing exercise to alleviate back pain and bulging disc. As opposed to trying to lay face down on the floor, and push up with your hands- sometimes it’s painful to get on the floor and lay flat face down Hence this exercise works better for some of us- thank you

Tell your boyfriend or small brother to climb on your back while your are laying on the ground nothing beats it and don't take too much weight on your back
If you have a pull up bar you can do this same thing by hanging from the bar, while letting your lower back slowly fall. You can do it with your feet on the ground or all the way up to a full hang. Some people use inversion tables/chairs as well.

As someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to do routine 30 minutes stretch, this appears to work even better. I tired this for the first time and it definitely relieved majority of the pressure. I should really be a physical therapist because I do so much self stretching and exercises I see videos of the same thing. I just do what feels right to me. If you know your body then you know what to do to make yourself feel good.

I have severe stenosis and deteriorating disc disease and is starting to really kick my butt and I'm 42 and I could I can't walk that good right now and that helped me a lot like ease it up

@Patricia Be careful with stretching. I pulled a muscle. I'm 63 yrs young. I still try to stretch but I now know my limit.
